I luv Rhi & T. I. performance! I did not have any understanding about Lil Wayne new piercing. Kanye is always trying to over do it....did not like his performance! I think the only reason they gave Brit all them awards b/c she failed last year!!!!!

this awards really was bad and did anyone watch kid rock perform that was just sadand is mtv the only award show that alouds you drink open like that everyone was carrying around a cup

It's a shame, I remember the first VMA's and they really were something to watch, but that last few years haven't been worth a thing and everyone who was anyone was there, looking at the crowd last night it wasn't even the hottest folks in the industry, just a handful and the rest blah......they have jumped the shark ( I watch too much VH1 gosh I am old :( )

The show sucked big time. I watched the red carpet show and should have known then it was going to be a snooze fest...dont even recognize the mtv vjs anymore. Rihanna + TI were hot. Everybody needs to recognize that she aint going nowhere and she put her foot in that performance - grabbing her crotch and looking like more gangster than TI...ha!

Well I thought the whole show sucked, from that uk dude acting like he was high talking about the damn JONAS brothers all night like he's some kind of pervert. To be honest with you the only performance that I loved was PINK...She's my girl and she never let's me down... Rihanna was good, but she always looks uptight and scared to me when she performs, but she looked amazing and her body is hottt. Lil Wayne looked like a damn idiot jumping around with his damn pants sagging, I mean grow up already. Travis and DJ a&m rocked it too.

the awards were very predictable this yr.. loved Rihanna's performances. Weezy is slowly & gradually coming out of the closet by letting the world see his lip piercing..

Kid Rock is a some white trash garbage!

oh, & I enjoyed Pink's performance

Forgot that britney won three awards for a video no one saw. I'm sure mtv promised her ppl she would win in order for her to come to the show...damn shame. Wayne's piercing was disturbing - snaps for the kid.
