Definition of a hater... And it's not what you are thinking...
I found this over @ blkpearls.blogspot.com and decided to post it...
Is a hater someone who does not like something that is very popular, like Beyonce? Or is it someone who has a different opinion than you or most do on an subject or situation, like the Don Imus fiasco? The truth is neither of these descriptions is the actual definition of a HATER. A hater is someone who seems to be mad at the world but in actuality is mad at themselves for not accomplishing their goals and dreams. So just like that bully in high school, they put others down in order to feel better about themselves and their lives. For example, I can only take listening to one song a day if it is by Rihanna because I find her voice extremely irritating. Does that make me a hater or do I just have an opinion? I'm not saying that I hate her music or even her voice. Another example is Beyonce, I think her music, voice and performances are ridiculously HOT, but I find her style and personality to be fake. Again, is this hating on Beyonce or do I have an opinion? Remember, a hater does not give compliments whatsoever because it makes them feel like less of a person/man/woman-whateva'. Another way to spot a hater is to notice how anger seems to be just lurking under the surface of what they are saying, it's very hard to hide. I wanted to address this because a different opinion does not automatically mean that person is a hater, it could simply mean that they see things differently. This term is used all willy-nilly and it should be reserved for the true, unadulterated haters.
So you see ladies, Baller Alert is a blog where we all come together throughout the day and express our opinions... No two people are going to agree 100% of the time, differing opinions do not equal hate...

I give compliments and encouragement without blinking an eye. People need them and are deserving of them.
