FEMALE BALLERS: Is it just me or is dating so much easier when you have your own money?

I read the posts on this site and I wonder to myself is my perspective of dating and men different because I am "ballin" myself? Besides the miscellaneous dud here and there for the most part my dates are phenomenal. I never feel obligated to give it up, I can be bothered when and if I feel like it. I get "tokens of affection" without ever asking for anything (I can't think of the last time I ASKED a man for anything?, except, to give me space)! As a matter of fact I have to turn down dates. These men are not only hot, but successful and great catches. My friends constantly ask me "with so many options why not just settle down?"

Wow! Why did you decide to get rude? CA doesn't have to expose her personal business. Okay so I’ll help, this is what you do...Go, overseas for a CULTURAL EXPERIENCES- nothing more, nothing less. Don't go looking for a man.
Most cable news channels have travel segments that may help you decide. For example, the up and coming city is Abu Dhabi of the United Arab Emirates. Private investors are putting billions into the country and are welcoming travelers. Or try, my favorite show No Reservation with Anthony Bourdain on the travel channel. The man goes all over the world not just Western Europe. (Yes, there is life outside of France, Italy and Spain...yes I’ve been to all three.)
I personally am becoming intrigued by the Muslim culture unlike most westerns so I plan on visiting northern Africa and the Middle East. For you though, everyone, knows that Cape Town, South Africa is a great starting point then go to Madagascar and Seychelles. I personally have to go to Nepal.
For the record, hanging out at the Canadian- American border doesn’t count as a real Canadian experience. Also, you do need a passport to get into Canada, now…I guess you haven’t been there in a while. And, lastly and certainly not least, do not go to France saying CIAO…Wack Ass…that is an Italian greeting instead use Bonjour and Bonsoir. People will actually understand you.
Do some research for your self but these are good starting points.
I can’t believe you called CA’s blog wack... I don’t know about you, but I get excited when I hear black women doing well. Isn’t this truly what this site is about?

I am still young. I married early, divorced early and now I am enjoying life. The great thing about the men I have dated is we are still friends. No animosity. They are just as consumed with their careers and money as I am. We hang out, no pressure. No harm, no foul. I am at a good place right now.

Wow..this is deja vu. So many men have said that to me and suprise, surprise, not taken things further after that. I guess they get intimidated by success if they don't have much to bring to the table.
