WHERE TO GO TO IN A CITY

This post in kind of a continuation of "Who to Know in Each City"...but this one is about places and events...
Please help each other out by telling about where to go and where to avoid in your city...primarily the places where we'd be most likely to catch the man that we are targeting...be it a hotel, restaurant, club....let us know...
I'll start...if your in Miami..South Beach is the place to be but there are some do's and don'ts
Do...hit Karu & Y (downtown on 14th st) on Thursdays, Clinton Portis, Bryant Mckennie , Fat Joe, Diddy, Mary J. have been known to frequent this spot...there is a cover charge so you'll want to get to know someone to get you past the general line..not really a vip so you'll have a good shot to get at that baller..BUT so will every one else
Do...hit the Fifth (south beach on the corner of 5th st and Lennox) on friday nights..Larry Johnson, Randy Moss, Big Tigger (don't know if i'd call him a baller though), Dwayne Wade, Fred Taylor have been known to frequent this spot...but it's hard to get into unless your with someone who bought a table I've seen people wait outside for 3 hrs just to get in...
Do...hit the Forge on Sunday...another place most athletes hit up when their in town...but it only pop until around 2 am then everybody goes to mansion
Don't EVER EVER EVER go to SOBE LIVE this is image suicide..it's on the beach but it's built for "thugs" and over the hill rappers...unless gold teeth dreads and bottles of smirnoff vodka are your thing avoid this place
Don't get caught at any club between 5th and 9th...these are dive bars and reject clubs...

hey dade I have an addition. I know cafe iguana ( in Ft. Lauderdale )usually have ballers on mondays. Yes its a lil hood..wait no alot hood but hey..

Sunday - Park? I haven't been out on a Sunday in a while...

Ruth Chris on 9th Street....the new Houstons - inside joke
Lariol Plaza - a lot of ballers eat here...cheap spot but great Mexican food

Damn...u got the miami spots on lock....also dont 4get The Delano on Tuesdays...really nice spot. I co-sign on all of those. Headliner Market Group is doing Wednesdays nights at bed, however it's something about that club I dont quite vibe with.

I went this past weds it was cool it was the draft party for Brandon Flowers (that lil boy is to sexy...i got on it early...lol)..
hit up diamonds cabaret it's in north miami...but if your out for anybody ball player, rapper (ehh)..they are going to stop by there
Be sure to eat at table 8 (frequented my Jay-z, Shawn Marion, Shaq)
If you can find a member go to the Havana Club, it's a private club in downtown..memberships start at around 10,000 for a year for the basic, that's where you'll meet the owners of the team that your baller plays for
Mokai is a really great spot, I met the owner of Christian Audegir/Ed Hardy, and while i don't wear that stuff he sent me about $10,000 worth of clothes so..
Pay attention for any event that 944 Magazine sponsors your guranteed to see someone you want to there

I have to agree Miami is the number one spot to find your baller..and vegas second ....there is literally something hot to do every night...like the other night on a fucking thursday they had the chanel party..and a couple of days before that belvedre had a party out on fisher island (you have to take the ferry to get there)...like i said in another post once you meet the right people in miami your guaranteed to get what your looking for

HELL NO to Fly on Mondays its too hood now...eyebar crap shoot, but I always have fun...Josephine's is getting hood, so go quickly - I love the place...Thursdays - Park I think is starting something, Pure was good the last time I went (3 months ago)...Friday - go out of town...Saturday - go out of town...Park is getting hood also.
Ruth chris 9th street - Hood, but you can find some ok guys from time to time

Atl...Wednesday - Luckie Lounge...Thursdays - PURE...Saturdays - Dreamz (it is really really really hood, but you can find some hellafide negroes lurking in the corners!)...Sundays - Atlanta 300 bowling alley (the entire music industry is there)...anything Hannah promotes...A.G. Is sure to bring the hood out, but he also brings out the ballers...they're are numerous private parties - liquor contacts can get you in all of them.
