Lady Jei has the right mindset.

When I go out, I buy me and my girls a table and pop our own bottles. We ignore the guys that come to us at first but at the end of the night we pay them a little attention. It drives them crazy to know we can do what they do without them. (What they don't know is that its not my money). Anyway, what they keep asking us what we do and we simply respond make money.

After they get my full attention, I straight tell them what I really do and they are shocked at first but then I explain to them that its a way of life just like its a way of like for them to play ball or make records. So they respect my hustle!

I think everyone is exactly right, just be you. The things that every guy I know says to me - is they respect me because I am me 100% of the time, take me or leave me...I don't kiss ass, half-of-the-time I give them my ass to kiss and for me it works...but have intellegent conversation (no one likes a dumb-ass), be polite, and be you.

Know what makes you a great person and exude those qualities.
