NORTH CAROLINA A&T FOOTBALL PLAYER DIES

The tranquility of the GREENSBORO,NC campus of NORTH CAROLINA AGRICULTURAL & TECHNICAL STATE UNIVERSITY (NCA&T); has been rocked by the sudden death of one North Carolina's native sons.

CHAD WILEY; a 22-year old SENIOR from BLACK MOUNTAIN,NC; passed away Tuesday after being treated at a local hospital for complications of heat illness. He collapsed earlier that day directly following a voluntary workout/practice at the school's practice facilities. He was treated on-site and immediately transported to the local hospital by team trainers. Chad never regained consciousness.

Chad was a 2-year starter on the offensive line for the NCA&T AGGIE Football Team.

Our deepest condolences go out to the entire WILEY family, as well as the NORTH CAROLINA A&T Family.

R.I.P. BROTHER CHAD.
