That is a phenomenal response. I am so pleased to read the posts of young people who sure seem to be doing their homework this election. Regardless of whom I support, at the end of the day my energy goes towards my community in an election year and otherwise. My greatest singular purpose outside of serving GOD and then my family is about issues affecting African-American woman as that is one area on which I feel I have unequivocally obtained expertise.

There are so many issues where to begin:

The Housing crisis (it is out of control...nobody really wants to talk about it...it affects me because it has affected my family SEVERELY)

Education (it is getting harder and harder to get student loans why is that???)

Healthcare (EVERYBODY NEEDS IT!!!)

Energy ( Gas & Electricity why is my utility bill increasing effective yesterday by 18-20%)

Urban Redevelopment ( I am sick of this term being used instead of gentrification because they are not redeveloping for "OUR" people no matter how they make it appear and market the ish)

Ok I just popped in for a minute I have so much more to say but I am on a deadline....and had to get at least 2 cents in... Love the thought provoking passionate debate ladies!

It's not asking her to dumb down, it's simply not prejudicing an already intimidated audience with the thought that they will somehow sound "dumb" in comparison to her.
