I remember exactly where I was...Had just gotten up was getting ready for class, the first tower had already been hit then they showed the second being hit. They thought it was an accident, until the second hit. I'll never forget that image or the photo of the lady's face covered in debris or the one with the man falling.

Wow, I was watching Channel 11 and I could only watch for about hour. I just was brought to tears just about on every name recited.. Sad day! God Bless!

I didnt have to be at work until 10 that morning.  My man at the time called and told me to turn the TV on.  That was about 3 minutes before the second plan hit.  We watched fox news at work and they reported that the government had just shot down the plane in PA.  But they only said it once, then suddenly the passengers took the plane down.  No my bad, correction, retraction, NOTHING. To this day, I believe the government shot that plane down and they had every right to.  They'll probaby admit it 100 years from now.

That whole scenerio was just too suspect, wasnt it.  The passengers took over the plane just in time for it to crash in an EMPTY field.  I saw a documentary a few years back that said Cheney did give an order to shoot it down but someone told him he needed to confer with the President first.  I guess when he was trying to get in touch with the Bush is when the passengers stepped in.....

Ditto. I was at work and my supervisor had a small tv. We were watching when the second plane hit. Shocked the hell out of everyone in the office. There must have been silence for a good 5 minutes where all we could do was just look at each other.

I was 16 at the time and to tell the truth I really didn't understand the impact, it felt like you were watching a disaster film, it wasn't until the next day that everyone was like damn that really happened. We were on alert in England because we felt if this could happen to America it could happen here. It is really truly sad what happened and I feel for the people who lost loved ones but also feel for the innocent Muslims who lost family in 9/11 but had to deal with grieving and also receiving abuse because they are of the same religion as the bombers.

the area where the plane crashed had a crater that had been there before the crash even took place. i never saw any debris or anything when they should the crash site on the news. i could be wrong but i just rememeber seeing a crater with what was suppose to be the wings which how would the wings leave to indentations in the ground with those jets travel at up to 500 miles per hr?? the pilot that was suppose to take the plane down said.....the people on the flight were good as dead already!!  damn bish we knew that but did u have to say that s*** like that?? smh 9/11 was and still is just so suspect to me. yall didnt know planes that flew off course imm. had been hijacked?? really?? naw i dont believe that. people jumping from 80 - 90+ stories because they were not worned ahead of time that rogue/hijacked planes were flying to the new york area. s*** is just sad and horrible. where were the intelligence on 9/11?? what the hell was tsa or whatever the security people at the airports are called on 9/11?? etc. u cant prevent things from happening, but you should be aware of things in order to save lives or prevent things like that many innocent lives being lost.
