Hey. So the guy that recently left our relationship has started posting comments and msgs on my facebook profile. They don't mean much, so I figure he is trying to get my attention without having to say anything serious...aka I'm sorry etc.
So my question is...should I msg him and ask him to either say something or not? That I don't want to have this in between bullshit? We haven't spoken since the break up and this might offer me some sort of closure and get things off my chest. OR, should I keep ignoring him like I have been and not give this ninja the time of day?

We just got in this massive fight in my house and he walked out. We haven't spoken since cause I refuse to be the one to patch things up. He was in the wrong in the argument...plus when he left he broke my door and pushed me around...

If you want him to apologize, I would continue to ignore him in hopes that he realizes his lame ass comments don't mean shit and maybe he'll step up his game and actually say he's sorry. In the meantime, since you know he's stalking your page, it would be a great time to post updated gorgeous pics and be sure to let all your friends know how fabulous life is treating you these days! Or you can be sarcastic and ask him why he's on your FB page, since he obviously doesn't want to apologize for his ruffian behavior. Good luck!

I asked a co-worker what I should do and he said write an email. He said I should just tell him if he wants to talk then we can have coffee, or he knows how to reach me. And if not, then it is what it is. Not talking to him has left me with a lot of sadness and anger about the situation. And the co-worker said if I don't talk to him he will probably just keep posting comments...and its obviously been affecting me...I dunno it's just how I feel...

Since it is bothering you so much, I suggest you write an email and get all of your feelings out. However, this is not to be used as an attempt to win him back! Write it for closure and then block him from viewing your page/ delete him as a friend. Remove him from your life and move on. Let's not forget the very important part of this story. Dude put his hands on you. Although he only "pushed you around", pushing leads to shoving, shoving leads to slamming you up against the wall, which leads to fists, and who knows what else. He has already showed you who he is and that was the mild version. Count your blessings that he walked out. When a dude leaves, let him leave- permanently. He won't be the last dude you will meet. Allow yourself to be open for a better man to come along and take this time to heal and let go of all the negative emotions you got from this relationship. Learn from it and grow (but you can't do that if you take him back).

If you absolutely need closure and think writing him will help attain it, then I agree with all of what Starr said, but if you're done with him & the situation then ignore his butt.

When I am angry & frustrated I always begin to write! It helps to release the anger that I have inside. Sometimes I send it, sometimes I don't. It all depends on the amount of anger level I have inside. This way no confrontation is needed, and you can still get your point across w/o slapping the shit out of him! But, depending upon how long your relationship was sometimes makes the break-up anxiety alot harder. Just step outside yourself and ask, is this ninja really worth it? Can I forgive and also forget? Because we don't want you to wake up while he's laying next to you sleep and you beging to look at him and start SMHing and then just smush the pillow in his face until he stops breathing!!!

Good luck

If you want him back ignore his ass and that ego will make him come running back.

Loose ends are never better left untied. Were you thinking of meeting with him for answers to the "fight"- why he disrespected you and your home?, or just to re-cap what happend? What do you have to get off of your chest? If it's just to recap and you want to move on then ignore his contact.

why do you want to be bothered with a dude who pushed you around, the ultimate disrespect...

If most of these men cheat anyway then why are we wasting our time here? If I can't just go with the flow when I'm with someone rather serious or not then I don't need to be with him. Relationships are hard enough so I don't think I should have t...

IDK what's wrong with these people and their beliefs this is just crazy. Reminds me of them thinking that having sex with young girls cures them of aids. That mentality is definitely from the dark ages. SMMFH

Great post OG! I especially love the last paragraph. That's not just when you're trying to get to the next level with a baller, but with any men. If you are reaching just to get him to be exclusive to you, you are failing.
