For Women Who Want The Ballerific Life!
AMBER ON LIFE POST-KANYE: “What am I supposed to do? Crawl up in a corner and die ‘cause I’m not with Kanye anymore? Am I supposed to go back to the strip club and not take these opportunities that I have?”
AMBER OF HER RELATIONSHIP WITH REGGIE BUSH:
“Me and Reggie [Bush] dated very briefly after Kanye...We were both each other’s rebound and we both knew that and were cool with that.”
AMBER ON WHY HER STORY IS RELATABLE:
“I don’t have rich parents and it’s a struggle. I can’t just call my dad and be like, ‘Dad, my money is a little messed up. Can you buy me a car or a house? It’s not like that for me. I feel like more people will relate to my story than the Kardashians or the Hiltons.”
AMBER ON BEING ICONIC:
“Kanye would always tell be how beautiful I was and that I was going to be iconic. He always said that, ‘Baby, you are iconic. You don’t understand what you have. I didn’t. I didn’t understand it.”
black women have put her on the pedsatal as much as black men have. She is a good looking woman most have this kinda swag think they more then they are.
Oprah said it best, it's about 'validation'. When they (blk men ie. Kanye, Reggie and now Wiz) put her on the pedestal and we talk about her (she's on the cover of Vibe) she feels validated and gives her the power to think this way.
I'm not feeling this whole "iconic" thing, but I do think that had she stayed with Kanye, she would have gone further. Even though Kayne treated her like property, he was making her relevant (in my Somaya voice, lol). He knew that once she opened her mouth her stock would fall which is why he didn't let her talk. When she was with Kanye she had a mystique to her, as soon as her and Kanye ended so did that mystique and then she attached herself to any man that came her way with some "clout".
Bish took the training wheels off TOO early.
what a man won't do for a piece of ass! lol Kanye was so wrong for selling her fantasies like that
I believe Kanye thought it was true; otherwise, he wouldnt keep takes shots at her. He misses this hoe
Is she even planning to do anything positive with her "icon" status?
