(WE HAVE A NEW GOSSIP BLOGGER..SHE HASN'T FIGURED OUT HOW TO POST BLOGS YET. BUT HERE IS HER FIRST POST)
the name "Carter" of her ex-husband, rapper, Lil Wayne. She is now
Antonia Johnson. She rode the "name- train" long enough and received
enough notoriety from it. It's a good look though, a lot of people
believed she was trying to live in his shadow as his "ex- wife". She has
many things in the making for herself. Some of which include the "Tiny
and Toya" show on BET, which is set to air its second season April 13th,
as well as The Network Firm, not to mention her book which should be
coming out any day now, we think... Toya Johnson is currently dating
Memphitz, the guy from BET's 'The Deal'. They are cute together. Perhaps
this name change came because of a possible engagement... hmmm...

I wonder why she did that. Plenty of divorced women keep their married names.... Especially if there are minor children involved.... Maybe Wayne is the one about to get married. I say that cause my aunt kept her married name, but the minute my uncle popped the question to his sidepiece she rushed down to the courthouse for a quick name change.....

Her first step in disconnecting from him emotionally. She's probably realizing that there is no future with this man and she cannot save him from himself.
He's obviously moved on 'many times' and she doesn't fit into his plans other than being the mother of his first born. It's a sign of maturity and healing for her. I wish her well.
She needs to give herself sometime and work on herself. Put dating on the back burner for a lil while
to figure out what kind of man she NEEDS.

As long as my child has that last name and I have not re-married I would have kept my last name.....nothing wrong with that.......but maybe that's what she needed to do to move forward.....***kanye shrug***
