 Yes, they do alot of stunting in the A. In the right area at the right time will get you results. Another thing I found out is going to auctions, estate sales and open houses all in upscale areas you will meet someone.

I'm surprised you keep running into fakes considering you drive a Bentley.  High end cars usually intimated those types..well unless they sense low self esteem and want to live off you.  

Anyways, I'd say just wait it out.  Keep doing what you are doing, shop at Phipps, eat nice like at Ocean Prime, stay out the typical clubs unless invited out and they will come.

I'm from the north, and every person who struggles to live comfortably up here runs to the south. It is the Mecca of cheap living. Even the large palatial estates are only worth 1-3 million. That's why so many people you are meeting are what you consider to be "fake". You can get much more for much less in Atlanta. Either move or date out of state.

Yeah you would think high end cars would. But it's probably the area i go in. I never heard of Ocean Prime i'll check it out! ^_^

truth...all the small-time blackstones who were drug dealers here ran down to the atlanta in the mid/late 90's and made their small money here run long there..hell i'd do it to just as long as i can be n the chi everday n go 2 bed elsewhere for the low..ie indiana lol

That is why I changed my mind on my move to Atlanta. I will be partying for New Years this year out there though. That is one thing ATL is good for..the parties :)

I moved here this year as well, having to start over with no female friends is weird and doesn't help with the nightlife/outings to meet any guys. So I end up going out or to dinner with my male baller friends but that doesn't help either coz they block. Then again, I can't take the girls I meet with them seriously coz they're too known or are their in-town call girls. I'm just going to have to wait it out and I'm sure it'll all come. I love Atlanta, though I keep reading that folks are giving up and moving out/moved out. Maybe it'll get less "overcrowded" and back to how ATL used to be.
