Supposedly in the state of Texas they're going to start drug testing welfare recipients (which will cut down on most receiving help) and they are going to enforce putting the baby daddy on child support more. They should enforce a max # of kids and birth control...

It is 1500 dollars per child. You know not even 10% of that is getting spent on the children. Just keep them clothed and fed with the food vouchers and they pocket the rest. I feel sorry for the children. What type of life can they be leading if they are seen as a check.

They find loopholes.....they go to welfare offices claiming to be single moms and getting food stamps when its a known fact dad is in the household (this is where some of our so-called SINGLE PARENT CRAP STATISTICS COME FROM).  We lie and say mom/dad isnt there so we can get discounted child daycare so it wont cost us more than our f***** mortgages cost per year.  I mean come on...dont get pissy because this is the society a certain sect BEGGED FOR...so in turn I always say....IF YOU WANT A NIGGA, WELL HERE NIGGA IS IN ITS TRUEST FORM LOL.

Sad but true. A friend of my cousins have 3 daughters just for a check. The oldest one is in her 20's now and has no direction in life they youngest one maybe she can be saved, the 16yr old has vowed that won't be her life and is looking into college. These people can't see how that 'check' affects their children's future. SMH

yeah..my daughter actually has a disability and I knew I could collect on it for her but never thought to.  wasnt until her therapist and school went up when I was like hell her disability could pay for it...and low and behold her ratchet ass mom had been collecting on it since she was a kid and not giving me a dime of it for her...or simply saving it for her.the b**** was spending it on herself.

yup..true story...when it was just me and my oldest daughter I lost my home that I had just bought when I was 20.  She got sick and I refused to leave her bedside..so I lost my job and had to drop out of school.  I stayed at the ronald mcdonald house downtown chicago and when she got better s*** got better for me.  Got a great career from someone who was affiliated with them.  Then got a home for dirt cheap because of them etc...you get a lot of s*** if you act poor.

Come on Sweetness!!! Let it out. I feel what everyone is saying. This reminds me of the "if you are working, you are losing" post on here.

What happens if everyone decides to evade paying taxes for a year? It would be crazy.

In the state of NJ there is a two child max for public assistance. That's why everyone wants governor Christie to run for president. I don't like a lot of things about him, but that was nor of the things that I agreed with.

I already shared with you guys how my friend collects checks for her disabled child and goes out and buys Gucci begs when her child can't even do basic things at 7 yrs old. I mean, her child can barely speak but her closet looks like Kim K's. Smh.

OfficialLurker, I have not problem with your post until you get to the part where you stereotype a whole group of people based on nothing. My sister is Muslim, has a nursing degree and no kids. Noone in my family has ever been on welfare. I agree with you that what this young woman and her family are doing is indefensible. But your insinuation that "Muslims" are somehow enabling a young woman to have 8 children is as well. Blame her, blame the grandmother or blame yourself for not stepping into the community and teaching her there is a better way. But don't put the blame on a whole group of people who have nothing to do with her situation.

Anybody claiming they receive $1500-$2000 a month per kid would have to show me the check; otherwise, I call BULLSH*T!!!!!!  Has everybody forgotten about Clinton's Welfare Reform?? Each state could give UP TO 7 years of cash assistance in a LIFETIME.   Ohio's powers that be elected to give 3 years cash assistance in a lifetime. 

Now if I make good money and decide to take in somebody else's bad azz kids.....PAY ME. I dont give a f**k how much I make.  What I make is MINE, unlike the bad azz kids I took in.

 

Oh, and I agree with blackfu.....what's good for the goose, is good for the gander.  No one complains about the loopholes that lead to the crippling of the GLOBAL banking industry and housing market.  And for the record.....$.02 of every tax dollar goes to welfare.  What do they do with the other 98 cent is the real question.

It was not clear this was a email from the original post. If these aren't your thoughts I apologize. And you're right. I don't know you, so props to you if you are out trying to address the issue.

However, whatever your background, its not fair to say that all Muslims are a part of the problem. That's like someone saying that all Black people are a part of the problem just because that's the only group of people that they work with.  If that's not what you meant, then you needed to be clearer about it, cause that's how it came off.

And all respect, Lassie, I was already off my soapbox, so you ain't tossing me nowhere.

Regardless, good post.
