Being homegirls with your mother
So I was watching RHOA and Kandi's mom was upset at Phaedra bringing the stripper to her party. Now at first I was confused as to why Kandi's mom was tripping because they do have a "homegirls" instead of mother/daughter relationship. However after seeing tonights episode, I understood where Kandi's mom was coming from because it was disrespectful for Phaedra to know Kandi's mom was going to be at the party and not tell her about the stripper. That way Kandi could have told her mom a stripper was going to be there and mom could have chilled somewhere else.
However I can see how Pheadra thought it was ok to bring the stripper without really thinking about Kandi's mom because they have all been at the table talking sex together...so Pheadra more than likely didn't think it would be a big deal bringing the stripper knowing her mom was going to be there. I personally think it was tacky on Phaedra's part however Kandi's mom should know you can't be the "homegirl" one day then want to be respected as a mother the next which is why Kandi didn't understand why she was so upset. Kandi's mom need to stop hanging with "the girls" if she wants them to respect her and I guess she changed her hair style so they would begin to take her more seriously. I don't think Phaedra was intentionally trying to disrespect her though and Kandi didn't think so either as I'm sure Kandi would have addressed Phaedra about it if that were the case.

Kandi said her mom has been around strippers before tho'... Shiiiiid, it's not her party. I didn't think she had to act out the way she did. That's the problem with those types of relationships, they wanna pick and choose when to act like a mom. That's not fair.... My mom wanna go to the club with me but don't want me to call her mom in the club... wtf!

If the cameras were not there she'll be spanking the strippers. She acted out for TV so everyone would think she don't get down like that. Remember they're acting for the folks in their hood on these reality shows lol

Lol she even said that she didn't want people to think she rolled like that. But behind closed door she sure does. AND that hair on Mama Joyce or whatever is a hot shitty ass mess. She could have at least threw some gloss and shadow on. She looked like somebody's grannie.Lastly, Shree and Bob. Who knew he looked like that? How can he respect Shree and he looks like that? Kandi's mom does this thing where everything has to be about her. She is a bonafide party pooper. I remember when poor Kandi was trying to organize a family photo shoot but her mother had to play the diva and be rude to the now deceased AJ. I felt bad that her mom was guilting her about what happened. I would of been grossed out by the stripper too but I would just go to the bar or get something to eat.

I found it funny how her mom kept saying she didn't like strippers, BUT she sat her butt there through almost the entire performance. When she saw the dude come out the box, that should have been her que to leave. Not mid-way through the performance & then she kept glancing back. When I see male strippers, I leave the room ASAP!!!

I agree me and mom are not friends... Growing up my mother differentiated that she was my MOTHER NOT MY FRIEND...so when she tried to friend request me on FB I politely told her I didn't thank that would work..SHE IS MY MOTHER NOT MY FRIEND.... end of story. LOL and I do not like to party with my mom unless it is family related or me going with her. She can't roll with me like that sorry.
