*sigh* I know this discussion board will probably turn real ghetto real fast, but, I had my friend that's going to do my hair look at it, and we decided a sew in may be my best bet (I like having my hair redone often, and that allows less stress for taking down and doing over). What brands of hair do you all suggest for a woman that works out and sweats heavily?

I do not use the Indian hair and will not use it. I've tried it in a few colors and that texture was no where near natural for me, and I had issues with tangling and matting just like the cheaper Chinese/Korean hair.

Thanks, gals!

co-sign. milky way is the nappiest mess. In college I tried Janet, it's the closest to thick hair if you are trying to just have a quick hairstyle. not something I'd keep in more than a month.

It was me...but Megan Good also uses Extentions Plus and their hair is used for a lot of Hollywood movies and TV series. They are considered one of the best in the business for black hair extentions (hair in general). Check out their Relaxed Texture weave, it has fabulous reviews and some people have been known to wash and wear them and it lasts for at least a year or two with good care.

I am not a big weaver. I don't think everyone could pull off the same type of hair rather it's high end or low end. Who referred a weave worn by Joy Bryant? lol. Her hair looks tacky all the time, and I know she pays alot for her hair. Just because it costs alot does not mean it will look good. I've found a cheap beauty supply store brand. It never tangles, swells or split. I will never switch because this brand was made for me; Sensational hair weave.

no to all of this. outre is cheap and is good only for a few days. if you can't afford a custom lacefront (and some of those still look horrid) then NO! NO! NO! if I want to wear pack hair, I use bohyme. i just got some extensions plus and its like amazing. i have also tried wagmans (i think that's the name) and it was really good too.

Sew in? That isn't less stress, the thread can pop your hair. Lace fronts are the way to go and you can change them as often as you want no harm done! But for weaving I use to use Outre Yaki Perm or Yaki always looks natural and the hair has good quality.

I saw Precious the other night and really enjoyed it. I like how the movie hit every emotion the viewer felt while watching the film. I was angry at her situation and waiting for to leave home. I felt sorry for Mary in the end, I loved Blu Rain, a...
