Black is a color, since my ancestors are from Africa I'm of African descent. If Chinese are from China, Koreans are from Korea, Italians are from Italy etc. Why are we called black and not identified by the place we are indigenous to?  Therefore I'm not black (a color) I'm an African Canadian woman.

I'm black, but I'm not Black-black per se because I'm mixed with Haitian black & Southern North American black by way of AL and FL. I'm not, not a normal acting black, but on the other hand I'm not, not a black acting normal either. You get what I mean?
