dating is done outside of a house/apt. you got all the rest of long term relationship to sit at home watching a damn movie!

The famous "I was gonna", "wish" and "I used to" lines:

 

- "I was gonna (buy, pay for, give you, etc.) but I'm (a little short this week, it was too expensive, etc.)"

- "I wish I had a little extra money because (I would give you, pay for, buy you, etc.), but its (tight, rent time, etc.)".

- "I used to (have, own, live, drive, etc.) but (I lost my job, my divorce, the market changed) set me back."

 

As soon as I hear any of these words, I head for the door. Otherwise, you'll spend your whole relationship "wishing" on a star.

Last month my sister and I had a text message exchange and it went like this

 

Sister: Girl peep this…..what would u do if a man ask u to meet him @ the waffle house for coffee? do u think he is testing me?

ME: Waffle House for coffee, why not Starbucks or a coffee house?

Sister:  I suggested that but he said this our 1^st meet and greet since we met and I’m acting like Shree on ATL when that man had her meet him @ a h*** in the wall club to dance.

ME: I mean if it is a test it a dumb one. WH, really! Anywayeither he is cheap or trying to go somewhere no one will see y’all together.IDK, coffee go to a coffee house, heart attack  munchies or cheap meal, WH.

Sister: lmao! I asked him was he married, he said no, but does have grown children

ME: Its your call. Do let it be know that the WH is not the norm for u. IDK about this one, he sounding shady as hell

 

An hour later…….

 

Sister: I just turned my car around…..that MF wanted me to pick him up! He got ‘stranded’ at his moms house. I said HELL NAW!

Me: "Beyonce said that s*** not me, I'd be singing that too if my daddy was a Dr."

 

This convo took place after I refused to catch a train and meet this "Inport/export shipping investor" downtown @ TGIFridays.... He was going to send a car for me bc hes from another city and wasn't driving buuuut he left his wallet at his friends and he wasn't going to be able to afford both dinner and a car... never mind that he could have charged both car service and dinner @ the hotels restaurant to his room and paid the bill @ checkout.

I once had this dude cuss me out after our dinner date because i didnt eat all of the food on my plate and he said i wasted his money LOL nicca my plate was only 10 dollars maybe if you woulda took me to a better spot i would have enjoyed the food! *rolls eyes* true broke nicca ish!

" I just gotta get over this hump, once i get over the hump me and you gonna live it up" (your 30 you aint get over the hump yet?)
