Can athletes really trust any woman they date

I think it is funny that people always say she was with you before the money.but was she with you before the popularity? Take Lebron's girl she has been with him since high school but lebron has been famous since high school. So was it really him she liked or the status she had for dating him ? I just find it funny that the old girlfriends get points like they was with them just cause.

No. I remember when I was in 10th grade. A girl came up to me and said, "[Such-and-such] likes you. Rumor is, he is headed to the league. You want me to give him your number?" Again, I was in 10th grade, about 15 years old, and people were already banking on his potential. Funny thing is, he DID end up going to the NBA and I NEVER gave him my number.

I think it is the opposite a lot of the women are really bitter towards the guy. They just stay because the lifestyle.

most guys that make it pro are local celebrities in high school. Not like they are the avg kid that you don't really notice they have a name in the school

... but u have to remember women are different... at first it may of be because of that
... but they have children 2gether... n woman thinks with her heart... it may bcuz of the lifestyle but time sure its mire... in lebrons case anyway... but some of these girls r in it for one reason like Kobes wife

Can women ever really trust an athlete? I think that these athletes attract a certain type of woman for a reason. You get back what you put out...and the way some of these athletes dogg women they deserve a woman cut from the same cloth. (damn do I sound bitter?? LOL...oh well?) A good man deserves a good woman and vice versa.

Yea I agree. The girlfriend from high school is given too much credit because every high school has its star. But what I don't understand is why people feel athletes are unlovable. Whenever you meet anybody its based on some shallow attraction. Women may be after men based on their money and men may choose to accept their advances based on sex but that does not mean that they can not grow to love each other. The question "Can athletes really trust any woman they date" is a leading question because the answer is no. Nobody knows 100% of the person the just met which means no relationship (asides from friends for years) starts off 100% pure.

Because a lot of times it the fame that the woman likes not the guy.
