Chris Brown and Rihanna are looking to have a court-ordered protection order banning the pair from contacting one another lifted because they want to work on their friendship.
Brown was told that he must stay at least 50 yards away from Rihanna and keep a distance of 10 yards from her if they attend the same event.
A New York Daily news source says that the pair thinks that "It's unecessary and ridiculous."
The two have reportedly already broken the order by patching things up over the phone. Insiders claim that they are not looking to get back together, but they are interested in becoming friends.

I don't think he should be around her, especially not this soon, if she was really interested in being a friend then she should have spoken up and taken responsibility for the part she played in the altercation, instead of sitting back looking like a Lifetime movie battered house wife, letting the media paint him as this woman beating monster. Forget her he needs to think about his own future, he's facing PRISON if he's caught with her she's not facing anything, but probably community service for violating the court order. They both need time APART to get themselves together....
