I'd like to think my family & I are criminal investigators & we kinda like breaking down a crime scene. Weird, I know, but after watching shows like CSI & Law and Order, you can't help it.

In lieu of yet another tragedy with the loss of Steve McNair & his alleged side piece, given what has been said, could this really be a murder suicide & did his wife know he'd been stepping out for this time period?

the info that's known is she was a waitress @ a spot McNair frequented often. She was 20, was once in a serious relationship with a guy prior to McNair(he could very well be a suspect). Pictures have been floating around the net of the two(Mcnair & chic) its obvious this affair wasn't much of a secret. The escalade she'd been driving was registered to both she & McNair(I don't understand that)

I believe, McNair had got to a point where he was @ the brink of finally calling it quits & the young girl couldn't handle it & in a fit of rage offed Mcnair & then herself. Or it could have been a set-up.

Now, if I were his wife, how would I feel? Is it possible to grieve knowing your husband was caught like a reindeer in headlights cheating & is now dead possibly @ the hands of his mistress?

I just wanted to give you guys a scenario that has been playing around in my brain. What are your thoughts?

You are so right. Mechelle went on to be a nurse.

And I've talked to some of those guys, and yes indeed. Please believe they are in total shock about all of this. Can't say word for word, but things like these make you put or atleast try to put things in the correct perspective...Damn. Jeff got me crying.

He EVEN TOOK this girl to the house in MS! Now it behooves me why noone is mentioning that. So, Steve was caught up and he NEVER got caught up to the point where he would intertwine the side chick into his world like that. Its just beyond words!

Head got so caught up he broke ALL of his own rules! And Mechelle suspected but she didnt know who and to what extent. Its not a surprise when your athlete spouse cheats but it hurts you charge that off to the game! But he always considered Mechelle his queen and kept that life separate and he normally kept the side chick in her place and she knew how to play her position. And because he was such a good father and made sure Mechelle and home was always taken care of, it seems so out of character. Not that he cheated, most men do and grow out of that, but the idea that he was careless and caught up emotionally! He violated the code and ALL his boys are shocked!

You CAN BEST BELIEVE THEM NICCAS RAN HOME 4TH OF JULY! BET SOME SIDECHICKS ARE SCARED AS HELL BECAUSE DUDES WILL DO 1 OF 2 THINGS:1) tighten up their game, or 2) cut they ass off! Well, at least for a little while!

But Mechelle did say several times while finishing school that she had to have a career as a backup because her life with Steve was not promised always, basically situations, relationships, and people change.

This is why females need to stop following other females. This game is not meant for everyone. It shouldn't be games to begin with. Some people talk about snaggin a baller as if it's a way of life. But what people fail to realize, it's not that easy. It's not all glitter and gold. People feelings do get involved, rather you think it's a game or not. People need to value their time alittle bit more. I hear all the time about getting a car from your baller, yada, yada, this girl got one and what?? People need to follow a more moral path in life, and please believe, all the suffering, heartache and hunger would subside. Too bad this will continue to go on.

Couldn't have said it better!

She was 20 and him 36. She's just starting life and he's lived his. That's why I mentioned to another poster to get her mind right first b4 seeking her baller. People don't seem to realize that you have to take care of yourself first so you will be prepared for what ever these men throw at you.

You can be 20, 30 , 40 & 50 and it's the same thing. Look at Marion Barry, his azz talking bout stalking a woman.

Isn't Marion Barry a "reformed" crackhead? Obviously he has an obsessive personality... If it aint drugs its the women... Anyone is capable and things happen... We have no control over it, if it wasn't meant to happen, it wouldn't have happened... He would have never stepped foot into Dave and Busters...

Who knows, all I know is when I'm ending a relationship I do it in a public place.
But who knows what happened between the time of her DUI charge and that moment. That incident was not made public and he prob realized she wasn't worth the trouble.
He prob underestimated how deep her emotions were in this.

I read this article on MSN FOX SPORTS by a sports reporter who's name is Jason Whitlock

http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/9777174/Don't-be-so-quick-to-make-McNair-a-hero

BA family what do you think of this article he wrote?

I'd have to agree with Whitlock (although I dont like him) regarding the father part. As a father, his actions were totally unacceptable. He was human and not perfect...He didn't deserve to be murdered. But regardless of that, his sons deserved better and they should've always come first..and I dont mean financially, or physically, I mean emotionally and mentally...

.....for now. Do yall really really think he's gonna stay retired? He has such an ego. Plus, I'm sure he still yearns for a championship and would like to be back on top where he once was. What happened? I remember when he was drafted. He was #1...

Men love the thrill of the chase (make the guy chase a little longer next time). Take it as a learning experience. He may be sincere or he may be telling you what you want to hear (false hope). Hopefully you'll come out on top the next time around...
