Did Melyssa Ford Join the Natural Hair Club?

I know 4b and 4c roots when I see em'
A lot of black women have decided to let go of montly salon visits for touch ups in search of going au natural. They are rocking they're natural roots and looking great doing it! This is an exotic appeal for black women being that there is no other race in the world that has been blessed with this kinky texture we have, and when its healthy, it is so beautiful. And when its longs, it's big, and blows in the wind and looks sexy on beaches. When wearing my hair natural men always ask, can I touch it? And I can proudly tell them yes. I can wash and go and my hair always smells delicious...So what do we think of Melyssa Ford taking this route? Can she preserve her sexy with this look? And can we all looks sexy while wearing our Natural Locks?

Is she on Twitter? I would like to tell her how much I LOVE this look on her and that I'm proud of her to make such a daring transition, especially since she is somewhat of a celeb and have a lot of eyes on her.

i've been wanting to try for the longest but it's so difficult to me to do it WITHOUT the big chop...

You know, it was hard for me as well. But I didn't do the big chop. It was just too hard for me. I did flexi rods and wore a little spiral curl look, and I would rotate between that and human hair braids (where I would leave the hair out at the ends) until my hair grew to a good length where I felt comfortable cutting it. and I still wear braids sometimes to give me and my hair a break. My hair grows really fast when braided, and Im still growing it out to get shoulder length when curly!

It looks like it could possibly be extensions. That is always an option when going natural. If it is, its some good hair and where did she get it??

Looks like a weave. Not being a hater and all but I do believe when credit is earned it shall be given and I don't believe that that is her natural hair it doesn't look so...
