Hey there BA fam!!
I have a real dilemma that I am facing. My mom is down sick and has lost her health insurance. She has had to get emergency dental surgery, because the coumadin she was on made her teeth so brittle. They started to fall out one at a time from the root. You have not lived until you are eating family dinner and show up in the spoon. No matter how horrible she was to me, we had a long talk and she has apologized. Plus, she is my mom and I want her to be healthy.
I have decided to start selling my ex boyfriend's gifts he gave me that I never use. I would rather her be healthy than have this stuff. The surgery is already costing $5K and that's just the top teeth.
I was wondering if anyone needed anything. I have a LOT of designer shoes and purses as well as estate jewelry. I rather it go to my BA family first than to a random consigment shop. Message me if you have any questions. Thanks!!
Also, any suggestions how to fix this situation would be greatly appreciated.

You should also check in to an alternative health insurance company like Cobra so she can resume her benefits should she experience another emergency. I know Cobra is a bit more expensive then regular plans but they provide coverage when others won't. Sorry to hear about ur mom and I'll be praying for you! Also try Crigslist for selling as well. Items go fast on that site!

Girl, don't mess with Cobra..you may as well pay that shyt outta pocket. They wanted to charge me 730 a month when I stopped working at my job - There are places that help people with no health insurance and low income. I found a place and I only pay $20 a visit. Check the internet and see where they offer these services in your area.

Yeah don't do Cobra my first job was in an insurance company and know how the billing is done u will end up absorbing all the cost regardless.
Sorry to hear about your mother and hope she feels better. Hospitals tend to offer charity care look into that if you have not already done so. If you have any friends have them write prescriptions under your name and you can use your insurance that will save some money on meds for her.
