i'm going back and forth on this one. I loved it when my hair was short. VERY low maintenance, and there's soo much you can do with short hair. I loved not having to wrap it at night and all the fussing with it. Plus, being a hairstylist, I didnt care about it getting wet and all the bs that comes with having long hair. I think it's so sharp and sassy. I felt like I stuck out in a room full of sew-ins.

 

BUT

 

I've had it short for a long time and i like to change up, so now I'm growing it out. Alot of times I felt like I should conform and have long hair because men do like long hair. I guess they just like to see it flowing and all that stuff. I got plenty guys wanting to talk to me with short hair. I dont think they like all those hard spikes and stuff.

Yea i were mine short too... but it was long all my life.. i like it shor n im goin to keep it that way... but if i go to la or miami n wanna prowl out ballers... should i go short or long... lol but i get guys either way honestly

well if you are confident with the short hair...keep it. Sometimes if I was the only one in the group with short hair and all the other chicks I was hanging with got approached who had long sew-ins hair, I would feel like "damn, am I ugly or something!?!" "is it the hair?!?"  then I'd contemplate putting some tracks in.

 

LA or Miami? Alot of women are cookie-cutter and have long weaves. There's the saying "when in Rome, do as the Roman's do" You might want to use the hair as "bait" . But if you get them with the short hair, don't worry about it

I asked a male friend this question recently and he said, Yes in general  men perfer long hair for biological reasons and its feminine and sexy blah blah blah

I think chicks with short haircut are fly and usually stylish

My hair is currently long and guys cant keep their hands out of my hair, even at work guys are touching my hair. And when I wear my hair naturally curly blk guys go crazy for it. When my hair was shorter guys werent doing that soo I guess longer hair on me is sexy

But some women look better with short hair, halle berry, rihanna, amber rose

Shaunnie had short her for a loooong time, she had long hair but went back to short pretty quickly...

I think if it's a chic style & not ratchet it's just fine...
