I date to have fun!!  BUT, it all depends on what stage of your life you're in and what you want for your life.  I've been married and divorced.  While I'm open to being married again, I feel like if it's meant to happen  - it will.  So when I date - I date to have fun and enjoy myself.  If it turns into a wedding in the future - Whooo Hooo for me.  If it doesn't - Whooo Hooo for me too.  lol

FUN FUN FUN! But as Tracey said, it depends on what stage you are at in Life. I don't want to be dating for fun when I reach 38! Time to settle down, all the way downnnnn!

So far I have been dating for fun.. but am about to start dating to get married am at that stage in life.

My BFF's sister is 30.  Met this dude Thanksgiving that's 41.  They hit it off, really enjoying each other's company.  Week 1(ish) She said she wants a child and to get married.  He said, he doesn't want anymore kids and not big on getting married.  She said - Well those are dealbreakers for me.  They've been dating ever since.  Why did ole boy come over for SuperBowl talking bout he wants a daughter that looks like her....and was asking my BFF's hubby about how much wedding's cost?

You should always date for fun, but when your priorities change let it be known.  You dont wanna feel like you wasted your time or theirs.

Yes. I dated my wife for 8 years and i would have stopped dating her if i did not think she was marriage material. What is the point of holding on to something that is not worth it. You may get a kid or lose your good years on something that is not worth anything.

i date for fun but not for wasting my time if that makes sense....When I do date I make sure the guy has qualities I want in a hubby but Im not like OOOO YOU'RE GONNA BE MY HUBBY....
