I am married . I was in along term relationship and didn't get married until I was good and ready !!! My advise to anyone who is thinking about it would be .... don't rush into it and don't get married just because you have kids !!! Marriage is very easy to get into and hard to get out of ... So be sure that you have found the one who you want to spend the rest of your life with . otherwise it could be a big mistake !!!!!!!! Trust me , it is hard work and sometimes it can make you feel trapped and overwhelmed especially if there are kids involved !!! There will be days that you will be praying for a moment to yourself to just breath !!!! I love my family and I am glad I got married but it is always a work in progress . This life is short so do whatever you have to do to be happy while you're here ! If you are ready then go for it but if you .are having doubts .... trust me , it's nothing to play with !!!!!!!

No I dont want to get married. I will be content with a LTR. I dont need a title nor a ring to justify my love for someone. I am not knocking anyone that does but that is me. I NEVER dream of my wedding day when i was little nor do i now

Girl, that's not what ALL marriages mean. Most marriages are for convenience. So don't think because your not married no one wants to be with you. Marriage is some serious business. Marriage isn't one of my goals, but the day when and if I get married, this dude deserves it because he actually got me to go through with it. $pice said:

Marriage has been glamorized by our society. There's more to marriage than a pretty white or creme dress, the family and friends coming together, imperssing your friends, having a lavish honeymoon...as a matter of fact, I think the honeymoon exists because marriage is a bad decision, and at least the honeymoon will more than likely, be tons of fun. Marriage is real life. Living with real life situations, with another person: bills, rent, finding a job, having someone there that will hopefully be your rock when no one else will. It's definately a fairy tale, the whole glamourized image of the whole affair...I'm living it right now, marriage, that is, and it's no fairy tale.

I gotta be truthful. I would love to not be married anymore. It's only been about 4 years, but it feels like I've been stuck in an elevator with someone I don't know. A date would be refreshing right about now. Yeah, dating is nice.

That's funny because I dreamt of clothes and owning businesses when i was young. not getting married.. having sex yes.. a particular man. I guess I don't want to get married. I never cared for the idea. I like spening time with one particular person but I feel like the actual agreement ruins people because it ensures that you HAVE to include them in your life as opposed to desire them around. I don't like being told what to do, at all.
