If she had her daughter at 17, she is 36. (her daughter is 19)

I have been in a violent relationship... I don't necessarily say abusive (I know it's the same) cause after the 1st time he hit me we would FIGHT!!!!! But one night while high, he ended up blacking my eye & I was done. I'm too cute for that mess... He didn't leave for a few months but his room became the dining room... Eventually he left...

A couple of my cousins have had the breaks beat off of them... 1) still with the dude hoping that this time around he has it together... 2) finally left but her & dude still love each other and are the best of friends... And the third is like me, can't find that nigga if she tried...


I feel bad for both Chad & Evelyn because I think they love each other...and all the hopes & dreams that they pinned on each other are done... She filed for divorce, but maybe with counseling they can work it out...


Now... For those that think a man shouldn't put his hands on a woman no matter what, y'all are tripping!!!!! If you don't wanna be hit, then don't hit nobody!!! It's really simple...

I agree.  I never understood the science behind the headbutt anyway. What type of sh*t is that?? I mean why is it that only the person receiving the headbutt is all bloody and f**ked up???? Is there a certain way you deliver one that stops it from knocking you unconscious, too??

That raisedmy brow and erybody know I can't stand her, but I do think he hit her first and that lie that she headbutted him was crazy. Most women will slap the s*** out cha before they headbutt u. Just sayin, but there is no reason for him to have drew blood and made her soooo scared that she had to put neighbors in her biz. The filing for divorce was telling too. He was wrong and that's just that.

my ex and i beat each other for years... realistically you can't expect to keep pushin a man without consequence. You can't be acting crazy then be surprised when they pop yo ass. I'm not saying its ok for a man to hit a woman but its certainly not ok for women to do it either.

I was in a abusive relationship kind of. I didn't call the police because I thought I would be the one in trouble because when it was all said and done he was the one all bloody and cut up.
I've been mad enough to want to headbutt someone before. But I didn't because I figured it would hurt me too.

where's the rape comparison come in? i reported my rape and officer told me to hurry and make my report so he could go to lunch. I also tweeted about it and let all the local promoters know so women could be on the look out and more careful and NOT ONE person RT'd or spread awareness. I just moved out of town... my community wouldn't protect me, i certainly didn't feel safe. he's probably still out there ruining lives. s*** happens. no one cares about colored women... unless of course we're reality stars.

that' crazy...ONE REPORT IS ENOUGH...but you're still gonna have chicks up here  giving him a free pass just because. Those are the types of females who are probably checking for him on twitter RIGHT FREAKING NOW...

Chad BEAT HER ASS and while I'm no stan for Evelyn, I do think in this situation she wouldn't want to purposely do damage to "her pretty"....so him saying that she headbutted him sounded like a lie from the jump.

I said that this seems like it's a pattern and they said show me proof.. so I sent the police report from college and stated that he is a known abuser on the streets. She responded that it was only one police report... ONE is enough. I just don't understand women... I guess they had to experience it or be close to it to see that domestic violence is REAL. I do not like the women are weaker justification for a woman hitting a man. I've seen women beat the breaks off of a dude, but when he pushed her into a wall he ended up geting threatened by family members and her hood friends. Violence is not okay coming from any person. The reason I would side with the person that was accused of violence is because I got caught up in a situation with my pregnant sister. She was getting into it with my dad trying to make him hit her & I was telling her to calm down & go to her friends house when she jumped on me. That wasn't the first time she's jumped on me or one of our parents for no reason, and she has always been violent. I threw my hands up to get her off of my and because I have long nails I accidently scratched her face, but, even though my face and chest hurt for few days, I didn't get marked up. When the cops showed up they started telling her that she could press charges on us for domestic violence, because of  the scratch & she lied & said my father & I jumped on her. She played weak pregnant woman when I was the one that called the cops.  So you never know what was going on . I try to be careful with calling someone an abuser & I never take sides sith these public  arguments no matter how simple they seem.

I know sorry doesn't make it better, but I'm sorry you had to go through that alone & against those who should have protected you. I definitely admire your courage in reporting it.

That's horrible! If this is the crap women have to go through some times, I see why not many report it. I also admire you for your courage to report it AND tweet about it. Hopefully, one day, he gets what's coming to him.
