Don't Believe the Hype: ALL MEN DESIRE BLACK WOMEN
Over the weekend I attended a very prominent gathering. Make a long story short, I was accosted by at least four young men with very noteworthy jobs: one of Somali decent, three Indian men and a cute little Asian guy. I've decided to pursue something with one of the India guys (who is in his 3rd year of residency where I live).
I say this to say: DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE! All races of men like educated, well-kept, poised Black women. I remember a White male telling me how he always spotted the prettiest Black girl in the room before spotting any other female. We are wanted. I am not mixed; I am black (and brown at that) and, for the last decade I've been approached by just as many people outside my race as inside. Thus, Black females, don't believe the hype. The world is our oyster and so is EVERY man in it ;)

@Tone, you're not a black female, so you really don't get what we're saying. Unfortunately quite a few (not ALL, but quite a few) black men have taken on the habit of being attracted to what they THINK they should be attracted to. For quite a few (again, not ALL) this looks like a chick with a certain complexion, certain hair style, certain body type and what have you. Many times when you encounter these men, they are kinda rude about what you're NOT. A simple "no thank you" is fine, but too often these men are out here hollerin' bout the type of chick they want on their arm and being very degrading to any woman who does not fit that. When you encounter this over and over it gets tiring and it wears on you, and it's refreshing to meet a man who appreciates what you have to offer. The fact that he's a different race is mentioned because like Ms. Cheeks and others alluded to, there's this idea that men of other races are less attracted to women of color.

Thank you for given a real response. I understand your viewpoint. My issue is with women that make it to easy for these non black men to get them.
