So .. I told the directer like yeah Nimi.. you could've took the whole concept somewhere else ... rape & domestic violence isn't cool .. so he replied "point taken however the point wasn't to say it was "cool" but to reflect the reality of what happens in our community" and continued ... "I kno u have a very valid opinion - but my job as a film maker is to present what happens in real life - good and the bad" and also added in.. "the fbot video is a parody-its a light hearted commentary on the promiscuity, deceit, & ill-regard that happens everyday" .. one of the members of the group told me to take it up to God ... like what?

Agreed...his job is to show what goes on, not to cater to folks feelings.

come on now...lets stop thinking that all this happened over night, when in reality its just getting more exposure because of social media. We say "our poor kids" when our a**** were doing the same dumb things years ago.

Speak for yourself...I do believe social media is a big part of why things are so crazy now. Not that these things that are happening today are new they damn sure weren't "the status quo" and my age group we were not showing the skin and expressing sexuality as young or blatant as these girls are. Discretion was still valued and because we feared consequences their were things we did not do out of fear. This lil mufuckas are fearless of each, and authority (parents included), not to mention you have parents that cosign this s*** with their own ratchet behavior.

Nowdays being a Ho is glorified, if someone calls you Ho today its like thanks! When i was coming up(I'm only in my 20's) If someone called you a Ho you might as well slap on that scarlet letter...

I remember going back to visit my old junior high school when I was an adult and speaking to my math teacher. We chuckled about how I was "bad" and she said to me.. "You were a saint compared to these mofo now."   I was NOT doing the s*** that these kids do now.. social media or not.

Maybe you did dumb ass things though...
