How is everyone's diet going? What are you doing for exercise?

My diet is going well, I am losing and do not feel too deprived. My biggest adjustment is portion size and this green smoothie for breakfast. I started this kicboxing class that is kicking my ass but from how sore I am I know the results will be coming if I stick with it.

I'm doing zumba and cardio and I think I'm seeing results. My stomach is flat and I think I see my arms toning but I might be dreaming about that lol. I still eat what I want, but I'm tryna get away from soda...its hard tho

I love zumba.. I haven't done it in a while though. I started taking this boot camp class that is no joke. I'm waiting for this cross fitness class to come on groupon so i can go. I signed up for a few salsa classes. i'm trying to switch it up. I still have some more to lose. I'm almost to my goal :)

I love the adjustment. b4 I would eat and not pay attention. One day I ate and jumped on the scale and noticed a 3lb increase I was like WTH? and later in the afternoon after my walk and a nap I  noticed a 4lb loss. That made me DECREASE my portions, more salad and steamed vegs on the  plate.  Even if I eat rice, or quinoa I still only take a spoonful, nothing heaping on the plate.

I take a brisk 30mins walk in the morning and 30mins after dinner. I noticed I'm toned up, my breathing is a lot better and I'm enjoying my spinning classes. I'm starting weight training on Sunday.

For your Green smoothie, what do you put in it? I do a green apple, spinach, kale, ginger.

When I make them at home I do Spinach or Kale, mango, strawberry, pineapple.  I drink 2 cups of ginget  tea minimum a day. I also drink water with apple cider vinegar.

I am A Zumba instructor and I love it. It's been 2 years. Now, I haven't lost weight but I can tell you, I have lost inches. This workout is fun and  I also teach aqua- Zumba you should try that. Zumba is fun and you can go at your own pace. 

I just got an elliptical machine and I've already had my first leg cramp! lol I hate it and it hates me. It is a necessary evil.

My lifestyle changes are going pretty well. I've decided to become a dietitian, so it's imperative that I lose weight. I ride an exercise bike at home or go walking/running for cardio. I do Pilates and yoga for everything else. The diet part isn't hard for me, I've started to eat more whole foods in small portions (eggs, real cheese-not the pasteurized Kraft stuff, full fat yogurt) and I see a major improvement in my hair, skin and nails. I want to get as small as I possibly can and try to stay that way until I at least have a Ph.D.

I'm not dieting, just trying to tone up and maintain my current weight. I want to try boxing. I go and observe on Wednesdays but I never sign up, I think I'm too intimidated or scared, b/c that trainer pushes them until they are in tears. But I REALLY want to do it.

You should try it. It's fun, you can start at your own pace. Also it helps to let the trainer know how you feel about it. As trainers we have to to be open for that stuff.

DO IT!! It's soo much fun plus you will see instant results and you can throw them hands like no other lol
