I started this kicboxing class that is kicking my ass but from how sore I am I know the results will be coming if I stick with it.

I'm waiting for this cross fitness class to come on groupon so i can go. I signed up for a few salsa classes. i'm trying to switch it up. I still have some more to lose. I'm almost to my goal :)

One day I ate and jumped on the scale and noticed a 3lb increase I was like WTH? and later in the afternoon after my walk and a nap I noticed a 4lb loss. That made me DECREASE my portions, more salad and steamed vegs on the plate. Even if I eat rice, or quinoa I still only take a spoonful, nothing heaping on the plate.
I take a brisk 30mins walk in the morning and 30mins after dinner. I noticed I'm toned up, my breathing is a lot better and I'm enjoying my spinning classes. I'm starting weight training on Sunday.
For your Green smoothie, what do you put in it? I do a green apple, spinach, kale, ginger.

Permalink Reply by Siren on June 14, 2012 at 1:59pm When I make them at home I do Spinach or Kale, mango, strawberry, pineapple. I drink 2 cups of ginget tea minimum a day. I also drink water with apple cider vinegar.

Permalink Reply by Ms. Ashley Banks on June 14, 2012 at 3:42pm My lifestyle changes are going pretty well. I've decided to become a dietitian, so it's imperative that I lose weight. I ride an exercise bike at home or go walking/running for cardio. I do Pilates and yoga for everything else. The diet part isn't hard for me, I've started to eat more whole foods in small portions (eggs, real cheese-not the pasteurized Kraft stuff, full fat yogurt) and I see a major improvement in my hair, skin and nails. I want to get as small as I possibly can and try to stay that way until I at least have a Ph.D.

I go and observe on Wednesdays but I never sign up, I think I'm too intimidated or scared, b/c that trainer pushes them until they are in tears. But I REALLY want to do it.
