Well if she is going back and telling her girlfriends those things its so that them heffas won't have any intrest in him either!  If she went back to her girls and was like he has this, he has that, the sex was like this or that, one of them hoes is going to get intrigued and start to wonder about everything that her friend is talking about and then possible start to pursue her friends man. #hoesbewinning So to answer your question, a women may talk ish about a man shes interested in so that her girlfrends will think less of him and not even think to try to go after him. She knows what she has she just dont want them hoes knowing! lol

The only time I've ever seen this happen is when the dude has a whole lotta money and she's interested in the $$$, not the dude. She probably does think he's ugly and lame. And she may have already fcked him or may end up with him. All she sees is $$$$, gifts, paid bills, etc. Who knows, maybe after spending a little time with him, she may end up actually liking him a bit.

Other than that, I haven't noticed this happening.

I have a friend who saw this ugly ass dude and was never interested in him, talked about him like a dog, etc. But, someone told her he had a lot of girls/women and we all were wondering how that was. Come to find out, monkey man(that's his nickname) had a lot of money! So of course, she went for him for this reason only and she got him in the end. Now, he did beat the shyt out of her, although I can't say that he didn't have a reason since she was a straight up cheater, which doesn't make it ok but due to the way they found each other it was totally expected.

 

This is the only reason I can think of aside from the fact that he may just be a cool azz dude. Just cause you are ugly doesn't mean you don't have anything to offer, LMAO!

I have actually seen this backfire on girls. Usually that makes the dude more interesting.

It might be a guy that she's not interested in at first, but he might eventually grow on her. I knew someone that didnt like this guy but the guy cared a lot about her she would dog him out talk mess about him and everything but she ended up with the guy because the guy never gave up and was always there. Eventually she started to like him just as much as he liked her.

I never seen that before, they might not get to excited because the relationship isn't established yet but I have never seen when they would diss an actual guy. I really don't think women wait for the approval of their friends because if that were the case, when the friend tells them that a guy is no good a lot of the times they don't listen.

I ONCE had a friend just like that. We all caught on real quick not to tell her if we were interested in a guy. Then we all cut her loose.

I actually agree with you Tone. Some women get stuck in that grade school mindset. If their homegirls don't approve, she won't either. I have seen that a lot. She may find the guy attractive, but if one of her friends says, "he's ugly as hell", she won't have the guts to disagree because she doesn't want to be the subject of ridicule. That usually only happens with that friend who has low self-esteem and doesn't get a lot of attention from the opposite sex. If she has confidence she won't let other people change her opinion of someone she is genuinely attracted to, causing her to miss out on her man!

LOL I've done this before. I was bored, he wasn't cute, and I sort of wasn't interested in him like that, but we did always hang out. It was because he was very outgoing and always willing to pay for things and since I was bored and didn't have a dude at the time I was ok hanging out with him. Maybe I was frontin though....
