I don't know. I'm of two minds. Intellectually, they're right. It's a civil rights issue and they should be entitled to those rights. However, I can't help but have a visceral emotional response whenever I hear gay people, especially white gay people, compare the two struggles. When gay's get equal marriage rights, the majority of whom will be white, they will have an inherent advantage over their minority counterpart in a wide array of areas, education, employment, healthcare, etc. I have NEVER heard a black gay/lesbian person speak of the two struggles with the same magnitude.
