i haven't seen the interview yet, but, its all about marketing from both camps. With both albums coming out within weeks of each other, both are choosing the "right" time to speak. Although, RIhanna's team is seemingly doing a better job, but, who wouldn't want to hear her side?

I didn't watch the interview yet, I really want to hear her side but, I hate that she's telling her side when she getting ready to drop an album!!! I feel like her team is trying to capitalize off a VERY SERIOUS issue. Chick was out partying and club hopping for months, she could and should have spoke out then.

I'll still watch it because I'm curious...

Actually, I am sure its all staged (her responses) she would lose all major crediabilty if she said--she forgave him and still oved him etc..EVERYTHING is about money--she'll never admit still loving him or even maybe still seeing him on the low--its about her new CD and MONEY, oh and her fan approval ratings..

Its rehearsed, I like her but it is what is it...Hollyweird creates what they want you to beleive..

bottom-line

remember when Whitney did her interview and said "if I do crack, then show me the reciepts'.."I've only done weed and booze"...

RiRi will say ONLY what the public wants to hear--so she can make her loot. She wants NO backlash and who can blame her..If she still loves/wants that boy or it was a fight between the two that she or they both went too far with--she'll never admit it..

I actually feel sorry for young people that make mistakes in front of the media..it can make or break you.I wonder did they receive therapy..they both need to be in college enjoying young adulthood, instead of dealing with crazy hollywood on a 24/7 basis..I'd like to see both in 20 yrs, I just wonder..

damn Lindsey Lo looks like a damn drug addict from skidrow and Britney is teetering on the edge of insanity...I wish RiRi the best, and hope she loses the dark shit soon. she should be wearing beautiful dresses and sharp hair cuts instead of a weave over her eyes and a hook arm w/a eye patch and crypyt walking w/ a cane..her parents have no input on her image, it's kinda sad to me.

I hope her CD is good, so I can cop it..

well I think this is the right time. Was she supposed to hold a press conference after this happened. When she does not have a product she does not have to say anything, Did we see her out every week? Yes, but she did not open her mouth.

It would not be right for her to dodge questions and have to go on interviews to promote her album. That would be phoney. Just my thoughts.

She is well trained ... that's what the entertainment business is all about . Why not use this experience to promote her album . I wouldn't have ...... but that's me .

HE looks like an idiot IMO again not a Rihanna Stan/Fan yes her PR coached her well...yes she is speaking before her album release date. He has an album too though so this will affect him with the 'mainstream' consumers. He had his chance on CNN..did'nt want to comment on it! If she hit him why does he not say she did so now that she is talking about it. Why did he plead guilty with a felony. Why did'nt he tell the court she hit him too? He went on how he loved her still and he won't talk about it. She said she did not hit him, so if she did he needs to come back and tell his side other then bowtie statusing(not a word, I know). His 'fans' that crush on him that were jealous of Rihanna before will stand by him and are fine with it. He is not even selling out the Avalon here..before this happened he would have sold it out in less then a day, it's so small.

She knows that by going back to him it would "ruin her empire" and everything that's been built up or whatever it was she said. She may want to but it wouldnt be a good career move. Or she may be one of those types that really will move on once a man hits her. But not to stereo type people from the islands, but those women are firey! They will snap on anybody! Any woman who sees certain texts in her boyfriend's phone is gonna snap. I thinkshe said it in the interview they she was angry about it and she would not drop it and he wanted her to drop it but she wouldnt. I can imagine how she was snappin on him in that car and probably muffing him upside the head.

@honeycoated....I had the similar thoughts.

Most women from the Islands I've encounted were not in the least bit timid. Didn't think anything of getting you in your face or being rude. Not that it was okay for Chris to hit her but I can only imagine what RiRi was saying or doing that was provoking. Although RiRi in her interview said she didn't "hit" him....that doesn't exclude doing other things like scatching, pushing or grabbing which technically would not be considered "hitting". It could just be a play on words.

I personnally think that Chris and RiRi relationship was likely mutally abusive. As RiRi described themselves as being "obsessed" with each other. Hopefully, Chris will learn to keep his hands to himself and both will find happy/healthy relationships in the future.
