And some women are mothers and fathers. And some men aren't dads they are just sperm donors. I can go on...

Really? Tone please carry your ass and this comment to another thread. When you start alerting the men to give THEIR KIDS the love and support that they should women wouldn't have to try and play both roles.. Don't even respond let's just end on happy fathers day

When you say things like that it devalues the role of a man in a child's life. Even if a man is a dead beat dad you don't devalue the role of  the father by saying i am both your mother and father.  That gives kids the idea that fathers are nice but they are not needed  because mom can do both jobs.

although i agree he needs a day off..i actually agree with him. the role of men are devalued in a childs life. you all are great women and moms no doubt..but in no shape/form/in hell are you anywhere near dads/fathers/men/protectors/etc
