Hello You Owe Me $$$ Right?

Does anybody else have certain people in your life who always needs to borrow $$$$$ but can't pay you back? However, they are always traveling, shopping, have the lastest ish

So yesterday im talking to my co-worker and he is telling me how his bestfriend charged a $400 hotel room to his credit card. Basically she tries to check in to the hotel with her debit card, with the tax and sercurity hold included she doesn't have enough money. She calls him and ask him to place the $50 sercurity charge on his credit card, and she will pay him back asap. Her boyfriend and two other people stayed in that room too... Well this was a couple weeks ago and basically he ended up paying for the whole stay,and he has heard nothing from her regarding the $400 charge. He called left a voicemails, texts ect.

Then he goes on and tells me how this always happens. People borrow money and never pay him back yadda yadda. Then im like call her ass from a blocked number or from my phone (im angry). And he tells me that she is not working he doesn't feel like dealing with the drama. He says that she is alway bragging about what clothes she brought and gifts she buys her boyfriend:/

His story really hit close to home:

A few months ago my sister had to have the new Iphone, she called me saying all she needed is $100 and she would pay me back the next day. Then she calls saying that 'her acct is going to overdraft because she spent all her money'. Now she needs and additional $100, so im at work and I dont any cash so I give her one of my debit cards and I tell her just to drop it off the next day. Now by the graces of God i gave her the wrong pin number by mistake. So, she is going to the atm and its not working so eventually the bank puts a hold on my card. So I call my bank the next day, and they tell me that she tried to withdraw $300 the first time, $250 the second, then $150. Then she tried to use it at walmart and 7 eleven. Im like wtf I call her and cuss her ass out and her reason she did it is because she knows i have money and that she would pay me back eventually:/

To this day I never received my $100 plus other money owed which I lost count

But she has been traveling all year, has all new electronics and is planning on getting a new car

How se gon say she needed $100 and would pay you backthe next day? if she was gonna have $100 the next day, she could wait till THAT DAY to get the iphone! All all this so she could tap on that phone so other people can see that she has an iphone and she aint doing s*** on it but on FaceBook, texting and callin' people. Probably not using none of the USEFUL apps on the phone or no business purposes, just to show that "me too! I have an iphone!"

See and this is kinda different, but that's why I dont do my mom's hair no more! Hell, she wears it very short, so there's not much to do to it. So i just cut it and it was $30. Of course here comes the "i'll pay you next week" This woman went and bought some damn MAC makeup which cost way more than $30. And when I went off like "that's why they tell us in beauty school, not to be doing your friends and family's hair cuz they do that 'i'll pay you next week' crap" and she got all defensive and I kept saying, but you went and spent $70 on MAC!

Aw, honey, we all live and learn about lending money to people. I don't care what I am doing, I am broke everyday that ends in Y to anyone who asks. It took me a while to get there. When I took my first cruise, which had been my first real vacation in over 5 years, my sister called me up the day before asking to borrow money. I was like, my trip is paid for so all I have is a couple hundred (lies) for spending. She was like, that'll work. I was shocked. So I am supposed to go on my first cruise with no spending money so you can pay your car payment. Yeah, I guess you'll be walking because I'm not giving you a dime.

SN: The person you described is classic of this woman I know. Her motto use to be: Buy what you want and beg for what you need. She said she use to just buy whatever she wanted because she knew people would always help her with her needs. ie food, rent, other household bills. And she is right. When people tell you their lights are off in the winter you dig in your pocket feeling sorry for them until you see the new clothes they bought instead of paying their light bill. You bytch but you still help them out. I don't anymore.

I notice people who do this are getting something(sick) out of it. It could be the need to have stress,abuse,feeling like a hero or so they can have the bragging rights so that they can feel better about themselves.
