 Honestly I thought she was better than that, I'm not a naive person she just shocked me with that mess

People know 'who they can take advantage of' when it comes to money. That's why I'm hard when people ask to 'borrow' $$$. My money is my heart, it breaks when I give it and it's not returned. lol

Anyone who knows me now will always hear me say 'I don't have it'. People throw hints and I always change the subject. I've learned that if someone asks me for money they don't respect me and how hard I work for it. If they can easily ask me to borrow money that means they think I'm a pushover and they were turned down by someone else. If I don't enable them they will find creative ways to get their own money or live within their means. 

I have a friend who recently quit her position 'because she just couldn't go on'. While I applaud her for listening to her gut, she throws hints that she needs this and that and she's not scared but something will come up. I just say 'you'll be ok' and change the subject and I don't 'offer to help'.

I can write a whole post on his weird ass. He is gay but straight i think he is trying to pass me off as his girl to family and friends. He gave a co-worker a couple hundred dollars and the dude never paid him, then he gets the same co-worker a managers position at another company making more $$$ and he still aint get his money. He said he loaned people thousands of dollars

If I had to borrow money from somebody, I wouldn't be able to sleep until I paid that person back in full. I have to much pride. My thing is do people really forget that they owe people money? I guess they just dont give a damn. Because if somebody lent me $1 im going to remember that forever

Aw, honey, we all live and learn about lending money to people. I don't care what I am doing, I am broke everyday that ends in Y to anyone who asks. It took me a while to get there. When I took my first cruise, which had been my first real vacation in over 5 years, my sister called me up the day before asking to borrow money. I was like, my trip is paid for so all I have is a couple hundred (lies) for spending. She was like, that'll work. I was shocked. So I am supposed to go on my first cruise with no spending money so you can pay your car payment. Yeah, I guess you'll be walking because I'm not giving you a dime.

SN: The person you described is classic of this woman I know. Her motto use to be: Buy what you want and beg for what you need. She said she use to just buy whatever she wanted because she knew people would always help her with her needs. ie food, rent, other household bills. And she is right. When people tell you their lights are off in the winter you dig in your pocket feeling sorry for them until you see the new clothes they bought instead of paying their light bill. You bytch but you still help them out. I don't anymore.

I AM MY MAMA' S CHILD WITH HER HUGE HEART AND WILL DO WHAT I CAN FOR FAMILY AND ONE (ya'll hear me?) FRIEND, BUT HUBBY THE TOTAL OPPOSITE SHUTTING DOWN SOB STORIES WITH A QUICKNESS, HE DON'T GIVE A DAMN WHO IT IS (except his mama) OR WHAT THEY NEED! Sidenote: YEARS AGO I HAD A BFF WHO ENDED UP HAVING A BABY FROM A FUNCTIONING CRACKHEAD (he worked at the post office!) WHO STOLE HER STAMPS, WIC, ELECTRONICS FROM THE CRIB (and she still would not leave him!) SO EVERY WEEK I WOULD TROOP UPTOP (48th/Lenox) AND BUY ENOUGH SIMILAC ALIMENTUM (the crack messed the baby stomach up!) TO LAST THE WEEK 'TIL WE FELL OUT 'CAUSE SHE TOLD ME SHE WAS ACTUALLY CONSIDERING HIS REQUEST (is ya'll ready for this?) TO GIVE HIM HEAD WHILE HE BEAM UP 'CAUSE THAT IS HOW HE GOT DOWN IN THE SPOT WITH OTHER CHICKS SMOKING AND IT WOULD KEEP HIM AT HOME IF SHE DID IT! YES YA'LL.

The only person I will "loan" money to is my mother. And then I don't expect it back. My sisters, are on their own. I hate to be shady, but I have too many siblings to be sponsoring. I gotta do me.
