Cause she's unsanitary... And unlike HIV, HBV can live outside of the body for 7 days...
University of Smitty said:The health dept wouldnt do anything unless she's running around sticking co-workers with a contaminated needle. I think yall are overreacting. HBV is spread the same way as HIV so what is there to be afraid of?? If her doctor wanted her to stay home, it was probably for the benefit of HER health.......not everybody else's.

More than likely it's not likely that you will catch anything if you haven't already caught it. That said, I understand that you're grossed out. I would be too.

Permalink Reply by CCD is Workin on a baller 4 she on April 11, 2012 at 9:13am She don't what and she got what? See...I don't know what I'd say or do but something would be said or done. I use to have this coworker who got pink eye every damn fall. The first year I worked there she came in the office and I lie not when I say the whites of her eyes were completely red. She said she was too bored to stay home and to just wipe down anything she touches with alcohol.
I very calmly told her that I wasn't wiping anything down. That if I got it then I would be home until my doctor cleared me to return to work, like you should have done. She left my office and steered clear of me for the next 2 weeks. I don't play that shyt.

Lmao!!! But she definitely doesn't wash her hands after using the restroom. I've known that forever, but this makes it that much worse...
I totally understand what you're saying, but I don't want to be that one one millionth (or whatever) of a chance...

Permalink Reply by CCD is Workin on a baller 4 she on April 11, 2012 at 12:49pm Y'all look for me on the news. I got the one coworker who every time I put something in the microwave she wants to take it out and look at it and breathe on it. Now knowing how long Hepatitis germs hang around, if she takes my food out of the microwave she might get cut today.

Just be sure to be aware of your body and make sure when using the restroom you use those protective sleeves that are in the stall and keep your hands, arms, or any parts that are exposed covered completely if you have any open sores or wounds. Your risk is minimal at best but I do understand your fear. Yes it is true it lives outside of the body for seven but that doesn't mean it's easy to contract because of that. It has to enter the body while still living and that's hard to do for people who don't have cuts or abrasions. LOL at you!

This sounds like my coworker.. B**** got the flu and came to work sneezing coughing, talking in everybody's damn face!! This was around the time people were dying from the flu in large numbers.. I should add this to my pet peeves list: don't come to work if you're sick with something easily transmitable to other people! Especially if your ass is unsanitary.. No offense but white people are notorious for that s***

Permalink Reply by CCD is Workin on a baller 4 she on April 11, 2012 at 9:56pm Father help me because I'd be fired now. My first thought was me calling her a nasty azz bytch before I could catch myself. I know me.
One of my lunch buddies sits next to a fish market of a woman. She kept saying that about her coworker but I thought it couldn't be that bad if she was sitting next to her every day for over 5 years. One day I went back office for something. Her coworker wasn't there when I got there. That woman came back and sat down. I stopped talking in mid sentence and turned and walked out the door. She came running out behind me talking about I told you. She'd have gotten a box of Massengil every day until I got fired. I know me.
