Bellaire is beautiful but out of my price range! South Post Oak is where my aunt stayed and she had a lovely home out there. She has since sold it and moved to a sub-division in Missouri City and it's nice to.

Also, my mom lives in a nice apartment home in Bellaire. Bellaire is a good location because it's almost smack dab in the middle of Houston. That makes moving around Houston a lot easier.

There are apartments there too but I didn't really ride around while there so I can't say what the ranges are. But Houston have cheaper apartments then the gulf-coast and if I felt like driving an hour to work everday and two-three hours back again I would have been moved up there. The humidity is the worst but not so bad on your hair, but expect your scalp to sweat if you have a oily scalp. That's my problem, I sweat all around my hairline and halfway up the back of my head so it's hard for me personally to keep a style and I have ninja hair so what that tell ya! It's always a wind blowing too, well, I can't say that about Houston, my side of town stays windy so make sure your hair is full of frizz ease or spritz or whatever it is you use to keep it straight cause when you get home it might not look the same! Real talk!

Good areas to live are Missouri City, Southwest, Southeast side of Houston, Bellaire. Harwin is where you go to shop, listen to 97.9 for the club information, it goes down often. Umm, hit 45 and you should be able to see all kinds of places. I don't go that often but to the h*** in the walls cause they go down! There used to be this club called Cornbread, It was super small and definitely a whole in the wall but it was off the chain! There are still some like it, but they are usually after hours spots because that's where you go AFTER you leave the club cause they stay open till 4 am. But yeah, check out the radio cause they always advertise stuff that's happening. I have a mini subscription to O-Zone mag where Julia sends out invitations to parties and other stuff, where who is going to be and when, etc. But I am unable to find the original site for some reason, maybe she shut it down and just sends the emails to whoever was on her original mailing list but I really can't say. But her emails contain all the in-the-know information in regards to Houston and the happenings.

@skytz lmao!! Im a weave freak so hopefully my hair wont be too much of a bother.. Ive looked at some places in bellaire and theyre 1200+ but then I saw some for 700-800. Ill have to see the difference bcus i dont wanna be in the "hood" lol thts kind of where i am now. I really have to plan a visit out there soon once i can afford a plane ticket. Its so expensive to fly into houston! What area do you live?
