If it were Juelz, I would have expected more... Jimmy, I expected exactly what he gave us. The fact that he swallowed his pride and walked up on her "like she owed him money" lmao!!!!! Chrissy telling him to put the ring on, is just how they roll...

This ladies is a lesson in truly knowing your man. It may be just me, but in that moment, I would want my man to be exactly who he is... Not anything else... Sometimes we get caught up in fantasy, and eff up something real and true simply because it didn't come in the pretty little package we'd hoped...

Agreed 100%, at first I was like damn he could've gotten down on one knee, but you're right...it wouldn't have been from the heart.

 

I wonder did his Mama stroke out when she heard about it. LOL

I just hope that it doesn't take Jim another 7 years to marry Chrissy.  Something tells me it just might.

I agree Goldie!  Jim had only 7 years to practice! He should've put more effort into her proposal instead of that.

I am happy that she got the ring because she deserved it, but I wish Jimmy would have stepped it up a bit. This is your future wife! Would you want your daughter to get proposed to like that?

Like just cause he is ready to propose he is still that ninja from harlem...people are expecting a Carlton from Fresh Prince proposal. This is Jim Jones we are talking about people he is not known as the most chivalrous dude.. and as well as Chrissy knows that Jim knows Chrissy and knew he didn't have to do more to make her swoon....

imma have to go against the majority here and say boooo to jimmy. he gave her a ring, thats all he did. yes it was very nice, but like someone stated she practically had to put it on her own finger. so what he flew down to miami, in my opinion, if it was that necessary, he wouldnt have even let her get on that plane, it would have been a done deal a lot sooner then that, and not in front of the cameras. i wish them all the happiness and good luck that i wished kim kardashian and kris humphries

I'm with you on this one.  So ya'll telling me that if your man proposed to you like that, you'd be ecstatic? Dude told her "you better stop yelling at me" right before he proposed. I thought he was reaching in his pocket for his gun, that was the most hostile proposal EVER!!! LOL He's done roof-top dinners and hotel dinners for her before so he's more than capable of being sensitive. I mean dude your chick left town b/c of you. 

I get that it worked for her, which is why it's acceptable, but that junk wasn't right. And why does his grown butt get the "hood" pass? Isn't he near 30, shouldn't he be on his grown man s***? Is that how grown men propose?
