I use Travelocity or book directly on the airline's website.

directly on the airline website.. trust me you not getting a cheaper ticket by going on those cheap ticket websites. And airline tickets take a few days to charge your card unless you paying via paypal.

Agreed. I use the travel site for my job just cause I get extra points for travel & stuff!!!

If you have a triple AAA membership. they give you travel agent services. Which helps because they know the best hotels, flight info, and all the small details. You should always book on a Tuesday and either far out in advance of your trip (like 3 months or more) or three weeks before. Take a late night or overnight flight they are cheaper becasue nobody wants them and you won't have to deal wiht a whole bunch of ppl on the plane. Also make sure if you are using sites like kayak or expedia you factor in the extra surcharges and things like that because it may be cheaper to go online and book through the airline's direct site. Don't call because they will charge you a booking fee to wait 3 hours to speak an agent in India that don't know what they hell they are doing and will probably hang up on you by accident! LOl that is the one thing I hate about my job is changing my bosses flights. United is the worst with customer service. Air Tran and American are cool.

I was gonna say this same thing! I always buy my tix on Tuesdays. Also if you book around jan/feb and sept/oct/nov tix are really cheap then too. Go to the company website. The ones I fly with frequently are Spirit and airtran. I LOVE jetblue, but they dont fly everywhere.

Yes! Girl jetblue and virgin are cool, but so limited in where they fly. I am starting to hate southwest tho!!!

@ Ms. BoiBye girl you hit the hammer on the head.  They had me on hold for almost an hr and half and hung up on me 2x.  Non english speaking jerks!
