My daughter was enrolled in this daycare and last week I was told that the daycare would be shutting down. Not explanation, last night I see this on the news! I am not sure how I should feel. This child had to be in my daughter's class and I am so angered by the fact that he was violated. I spoke to my daughter last night about inappropriate touching and she told me that daddy said he, me, Poppa, Grandma, and all her godparents would always protect her. I feel better that he has already spoken to her. But I am so heartbroken for this child and his family. Please keep them in your prayers!

"She said she caught him on top of my son with his pants down," the mother says.
That notification was two days after the alleged sexual abuse. The mother says she asked the coordinator why didn't she immediately call police.
"She said at the time she had never had anything like this happen and she didn't know what to do," the mother says.
The police report shows a third day passed before the facility called 911. The police report detailed sexual abuse the coordinator claimed she saw.
At the church Wednesday, the daycare center was closed.
Some parents hadn’t heard of the incident and were told the center was closed because of a licensing issue.

Maybe thats why we don't have a lot of male teachers because a lot of ppl feel this way. There are really good men who are scared to teach or work in day cares because of the stereotype

JUST found out this morning (by my BD) that this boy was in my daughters class! Now I have to have a talk with her when I pick her up from school!!! *controls my breathing* I don't think she'll be able to think back this far. It's been over a year since she's been there.... God give me strength.

A male teacher and a male daycare worker are two different things, to me. I know of men that drive the busses, etc. and they actually have women ride with them so they are never alone with the kids... Any time I've seen a man work in a daycare setting, it just weirds me out...

I spoke with my daughter on Monday after I found out, but I scheduled her an appt with one of the child pychologist in my therpist office. It is over by Anacostia station. Inbox me if you want her contact info. I am not playing they better tell me nothing has happened to my child!
Also Ronald King was charged and arrested last night.

My heart goes out to you... praying for your baby as well. This breaks my heart. Children are so innocent.
