My daughter was enrolled in this daycare and last week I was told that the daycare would be shutting down. Not explanation, last night I see this on the news! I am not sure how I should feel. This child had to be in my daughter's class and I am so angered by the fact that he was violated. I spoke to my daughter last night about inappropriate touching and she told me that daddy said he, me, Poppa, Grandma, and all her godparents would always protect her. I feel better that he has already spoken to her. But I am so heartbroken for this child and his family. Please keep them in your prayers!

Her 3-year-old son attended the Zion Baptist church daycare center on Kenilworth. She says the daycare coordinator called her last week to tell her what she said she saw a male employee doing to the 3-year-old boy.

"She said she caught him on top of my son with his pants down," the mother says.

That notification was two days after the alleged sexual abuse. The mother says she asked the coordinator why didn't she immediately call police.

"She said at the time she had never had anything like this happen and she didn't know what to do," the mother says.

The police report shows a third day passed before the facility called 911. The police report detailed sexual abuse the coordinator claimed she saw.

At the church Wednesday, the daycare center was closed.

Some parents hadn’t heard of the incident and were told the center was closed because of a licensing issue.

This is not the time or place to berate working mothers. For some women, maintaining a job outside of the home is the only means to take care of their children. We no longer live in a Leave It To Beaver kinda world...

So you mean to tell me that it is acceptable for a grown ass man to sodomize a child. It is not the man's sickness or fault it is the child's mother fault. GTFOH!!!!!!

Honey, these are not the old days where all you needed was 10cents and a carton of milk to get by. Women have to work to support or provide for a household. Do NOT place the blame on the parents boo. If you want to be a welfare mom thats your prorogative but I choose to give my child a great life and I nor ANY parent can not be held responsible for the disgusting acts of someone whom the daycare hired and did not monitor. Good Day Girl.
