I met Rashard Lewis tonite, but I didn't know he was a "big deal" until I got home and googled him. When I saw him in the club, I thought he was so cute, so I wanted to talk to him, but I knew he was a basketball player because of his height and his jewelry and the fact that he walked straight to VIP. The girl I was with told me who he was, and told me I should go talk to him. I didn't want to seem like a groupie, because there were lots of girls in his face. LOL, I was so stupid, man. Another basketball player was with him, and kept smiling at me, and he told me to come over there, and like a fool, I went straight past that dude over to Rashard and said "I'm not a groupie, but I just thought you were really cute and I wanted to say hi". I feel like a lame. I should have spoke to the one that actually seemed interested in me. Oh well, whatever, it was the club, I can blame my foolishness on the alcohol.

Not a good look. You didn't want to look like a groupie, but you did. Everything screamed groupie. Why did you do what you did? Anytime you have to start a convo with a disclaimer, they have already titled you as such.

I know, I know. I wasn't star struck or anything, because I didn't know who he was, and I've dated football players before. I was just so damn nervous because he was so attractive to me, and I get like that, really nervous and shy, around men I'm really attracted to, it's silly, but it's true. And I'm not used to approaching men, so I have no idea what to even say. Believe me, I was not even going to say anything at all, but the girl I was with had me all amped up, like I could do it, lol, and it was an epic fail.
I need a tutorial on how to meet and talk to the guys I am attracted to, because what I usually do is choose from the guys that approach me, which is very hit or miss.
@ madison, the guy with him had to be a basketball player too, because of his height/build, jewelry, and the girls was on his ass too. But I don't know who it was.

Depending on what you were looking for...you didnt really miss out...a close friend (a female) had dealings with Rashard...stroke game is whack... and the package...left much to be desired...
Now he will spend a few dollars...but probably not on any type of chick...
HE DOES have a girl...(GG *Givonia*) they have a child together...and he probably aint goin nowhere no time soon!!
AND LETS NOT FORGET...he just got suspended for 10 games....so is he REALLY "ballin"???
