Yes, definitely do so, CR. I got this formula from Sb Nikki when you contact a pot:

1] Introduce yourself.

2] REFER TO SOMETHING IN THEIR PROFILE <- This is the biggest one. There’s so many girls copy and pasting messages to a mass amount of guys, and the guys know that. Most girls don’t even look at their profiles before messaging them. Let them know you took the time to read their profiles and refer to something that they do or said that sparks your interest like “I love that you play tennis, I’ve been playing for 5 years” or something.

3] Ask how their day is going so they have a question to answer.

Now, I have tried this and not so much luck yet maybe it may work for you. :)
