In My Feelings
Was speaking with my ex today and he tells me he has a girlfriend now. I ask did he let all his other friends know (thats where we had our issues) and he says he put it on facebook. Okay, the underlying factor behind us breaking up was trust issues, but it basically came to an end when he wouldn't put that he was in a relationship on facebook. Then he tells me that he will probably propose in August. We talked about getting married, but he never proposed. I told him good luck, blah blah, but afterwards while I was in the shower, I started feeling some type of way. IDK why or about what though (if that makes sense). I do still care about him and he says the same but we both know that we arent meant to be together so it's not because I want him back. In the back of my mind, I ask did he really love me like he say he did or what. I knw some ppl work, some ppl do, but it's just a thought of mine. I HAVE moved on so it's not that, it's just a thought. IDK..I just feel some type of way about it and wanted to get it off my chest.

Am with Smitty..sounds also like he is trying to prove a pount. Its okay to feel the way you are am sure you are thinking what was it about her that made him change his ways etc..
It has nothing to do with you when a guy is ready he just has to meet the right gurl at the right time. You may have been good to him but timing was off. Shake it off and wish him the best.

Yea, agree wit smitty. Exs love to do that ish. I feel like that facebook ish will kill any relationship. Even though some guys act like they like the messages and cutesy stuff, I feel most don't. Honestly, I think its just a bunch of 'braggin' like I got a man or my man loves me. I'm not friending my boo on fb ever again and I'm not changing my relationship status until I done walked down the aisle. He can be friends with who ever and send any kinda messages he wants. I think he loved you.....kinda more as a friend than as a partner and he respects you, or else he wouldn't have told you. When my ex got married like six months after he met the new chick, I was devastated! So I know how u feel.

We talk online every now and then, maybe 2/3 times a month...and we talk about some of everything...he says he was telling me whats "new in his life".......Our last talk was exactly a month ago and he sent me an email telling me how he misses me but we know what it is..AND YOU KNOW WHAT...(going to check the date of the relationship update), apprx 2 weeks after but anyways.......maybe he was expecting me to reply to that email and say maybe we should try again or something...not saying that was the case, just a thought..... when I was checking the date I saw she was basically letting everyone know that he was her man.....which makes me soooo glad I let it go...If I have to continue to let all his friends know he my man - I would be crzy by now.

Part of this makes me think that he is just doing this to spite you. Like rub it in your face. Did you hurt him when yall were together or breaking up?

Girl I've been there. Just wish him the best and keep moving. He either wanted a reaction out of you or he just didn't want you to hear if from anyone else. If me and my ex are still friends, I would want him to tell me he's getting married rather than hearing it from someone else. Don't let it affect your mood too much, brush it off and keep going you knew the two of you weren't meant to be. I think it's ok to feel "some type of way" about it. Hell, I know I did.

I dont think he was trying to throw salt. He was being open and honest like a friend should. Sounds like he learned from yalls relationship. He now knows the importance of being open and honest.
But yes I think it's normal to have these feelings...so many questions come into our minds

I agree with JustMe. If he was 100% happy in his current relationship he wouldn't feel the need to speak on it to validate it to the girl from the previous relationship.
