Unless he is in this year's draft, or a purported top pick for next year I wouldn't count on it. A lot of these guys go undrafted, free agency and what not. I know too many top collegiate football guys who were hyped in school, that went undrafted, are free agents, practice squad or team hopping now.  Either way, act completely uninterested. The lips comment tells me what he's interested in at the moment if he were to be interested in anything. So if you're talkin' bout it, chase. If you're trying to get to know him and tie him down, don't.

Let him chase you!! DONT GIVE YOUR NUMBER TO HIM UNLESS HE ASKS for it!! The next time you see him allow him to speak first. Let the chase begin!!

I would flirt with him in a nonchalant kinda way...if u like him then it shouldn't matter if he's goin go the draft next year or not! But make sure u let him know ur interested without giving it all the way away...

+1 to what @glamazon said! He's not drafted until he's drafted...a lot of guys who are super hyped up in college don't go anywhere....I go to a large university and a few years back I dated the top player on the team; he got buckets like crazy and had a ton of recruiters chasing after him...only to end up playing overseas. Don't bank on him.

Be very careful, many other girls are thinking the exact same thing as you. 

Step 1. set yourself apart from everyone else.  Do NOT be a groupie, DO NOT give up the goods until you are in a committed relationship

Step 2. Educate yourself on the sport if you don't already know (learn about the conference, the coaches, the recruits, the teams biggest rivals, etc.)

Step 3. Play it cool / just friends and put the ball in his court.  If a relationship developes great, if not you can always be friends and if/when he goes you can get put on with one of his friends! 

Step 4. Once he decide to go pro find who his agent is.  This is very important!  Google that agent and see who else they represent.  There is much you can do with this information(if you get to this level I can give you more info on how to determine if he's worth it)

 

The most important thing is to be there for him on and off the field.  If he is struggle in a subject offer to tutor him(although they have their own tutors he would much rather be tutored by a beautiful woman).

Someone already wrote this but, make him chase you. I don't even want to comment on what I think he meant in regards to your 'popping lip gloss' but, nevertheless, make him chase you. At the very least, if nothing happens, he knows your face the next time you run into him after college. Then, you never know what will happen. Hell, he may introduce you to one of his  teammates. That happened to me.

Thanks u guys for your advice and yes that lip gloss comment threw me off a bit but overall he seems like a nice guy so i don't know we'll see.
