Is it OK for your best friend to call your boyfriend?
Sitting here having a conversation with one of my co-workers and she said she doesn’t know how to feel about her best friend and her boyfriend having conversations with each other without her knowledge. I don’t think the boyfriend and best friend knew each other outside of her (she’s their link, I think). I told her not to worry too much about it, unless her boyfriend has a history of cheating and/or girlfriend has a history of stealing men or being trifling. She found out about it in a general conversation with her boyfriend, he was like yeah, I hit Ashley up yesterday. I don’t know who asked for who’s number or how they exchanged numbers (I’m guessing she didn’t give either one the others' number). Her best friend still hasn’t said anything about ever talking to her boyfriend via phone, text, nor facebook (they’ve spoken via all these methods according to the boyfriend, but it’s just been basic “hey, how you doings”). So ladies and gentlemen would you have a problem with your significant other having secret conversations with your best friend (I had to put it in a messy tone, with the word “secret” LOL).
My answer: I told her to just say in general conversation say, “Yeah, Eric told me you hit him up a couple times to talk is everything ok? what ya’ll talk about?” --- she’ll either say “No he hit me up and we talked about blah, blah, blah” or she’ll act like she doesn’t know what you’re talking about, if she does that then be worried.

I wouldn't mind them discussing something they plan for me and want to keep it secret. Like buying a gift or throwing a party, or if they had some business together, but every day conversations and they didn't know each other before he met me.. I wouldn't like it, it looks like he is snooping for some dirt or trying to get with my girl on the low and if she would start contacting him out of blue, i'd put her in check real quick.

@ Shelli, i would have asked my co-worker if they had been friend prior to her, then if that's the case, ok. Naw, somethings not right. Her boyfriend mentioned he talked to her but SHE hasnt mentioned it? no bueno
If i were friends in common with my friend's boyfriend on FaceBook, i really wouldnt be writing in his wall saying wassup
And i'd wonder when, how numbers got exchanged. I mean, you couldnt ask me for his number? WTF. I'd like to know the update on this story

The only thing I saw wrong with it was the best-friend not telling her that the boyfriend was calling her or she was calling the boyfriend (makes it seem sneaky). If my homegirls' boyfriend sends me a message, I tell her cause, I don't want nothing or no one coming back saying I tried to get at them on the low.
I don't have nor do I want my homegirls boyfriends number, I don't have my cousins boyfriends number, hell I don't even have my sister's boyfriend number, bishes don't play about their man, Lol.

Hmmmm, something doesn't seem right. Unless the two are shopping for an engagement ring or planning a party for her; I would NOT feel comfortable about the situation especially since girlfriend hasn't told me they have been talking. Social sites I couldn't care less about; however, telephone. Oh no ma'am.
