It's back from remission
I was doing so well, eating healthy and staying in shape. Then today, well yesterday at around 8pm my stomach started having these familiar sharp pains. The same sharp pains I had nearly 3 years ago that felt like death. I thought it was just gas so I kept going to the bathroom and nothing. I got into my hotel and felt both hungry and sick, and I just ate dinner (airport food) about 3 hours ago. Sure enough, my colitis has come back from remission and I start vacation on Friday!!!! It's now 3:44am and I'm up. Can't sleep, can't stop crying, in a different state, called my doctor who was on call and he said there's nothing he could do for me at this moment. I can't call in sick for work before vacation or I won't be allowed to travel anywhere during my vacation. S basically I gotta stick this out through Friday. I remember this coming up before and someone saying they had it too. How do you sleep and ignore this!?!? I have NO MEDS on me and I have been in the bathroom more then I would like in one night. I wouldn't wish this on anyone. Its simply horrendous. I feel like I gotta wear a diaper right now just to be safe....*sigh* I'm super depressed

I'm not 100% sure of the laws in whatever state you're in but your doctor may be able to fax your prescription to a local pharmacy and you can pickup your meds from wherever you are. If you usually get your meds from walmart or walgreens or one of those big chains. Your records should be able transfer.

I hope u feel better soon...try rad's advice. I used to work in a pharmacy and we faxed info for patients on vacay all the time. call ur dr for him to submit a rx and it can be processed for wherever u are.

I know I'm on the late bus but have you considered/tried alternative medicine?
Honey is great for this. You have to make sure it's the wild raw honey. Also coconut oil.
If you drink coffee or tea stop now!!! Please. Even if it's green tea. Hot water with fresh squeezed lemon only. If you start doing this regularly, it will help to heal the damage thats already been done.
Try Moringa. It's pretty much a panacea. It works! It may be hard to find. Look for the dried leaves in loose powder form. Not the capsules. If you are interested I can procure some for you and send it to you.
I could go on however I don't know all your symptoms or what you're taking.
