Whatever. Unless they have quotes coming directly from Jay's mouth, this is utter bullshit. Yes of course he was upset to hear about it, she's his artist, but not enough to threaten someone. Hell the girl ain't dead...and he knows Chris is a teenage boy and that he himself have done things he wasn't so proud about at that age.

I don't think that Jay Z would say something like this either. I think everyone is shocked by the situation yes. No one thought that the golden boy would actually be a bad boy underneath. I think that if was two regular people that no one would care if he beat her ass or not. I say let it be. It happened and he is going to have to pay for it whatever it comes down too. I don't think his career is over. People will say they ain't buying his music for a while. He will come back with a whole new bad boy image and put a hit on the radio that will grab everyone's attention and the world will once again forget he did anything until Rihanna releases a whole album about it.

And back in the day it didn't kill careers. Everybody knew that Ike was beating Tina ass. Everybody knew that Sonny was beating Cher ass too. Mike & Robin, Halle & Wesley. As messed up as it is...IT's LIFE! I am still a frim believer of women should not put they hands on a man, But I also believe that he didn't have to take it as far as he did. It's also not surprising that he has done it before.
