I wouldn't be surprised if she knew. It's good for her image to have some hot boytoy, and it's perfect revenge against her ex-husband. She's not an idiot, she's paying for arm candy.

It's not the smartest ting to do, but she's trying to maintain the "hottie" image. I believe she was a fool for letting Ben Affleck go, but hey.
